Saber Knives Fully Forged German Steel 4.5" Paring Knife, Silver/Black

My son lost this knife from my set and I was concerned after so many years that it would not match my set. It is a perfect match and I will buy more soon. This is the perfect weight and size for just about any kitchen work. I am a home chef and the Saber knives have been the best investment I have made. After 10 years these are still my go to knife. My mom buys be sets of chef knives every few years forgetting that I already have some. Unfortunately they are never saber knives and they all get donated to the thrift stores. Nothing compares to these.

This knife is very well made and very sharp. It has a good weight and is my go-to in the kitchen.

This is a vasting superior knife. I am a culinary chef. Sharp durable knives are essential tools of the trade. The Saber fills the bill.

I bought three of these pairing knives. Pricey but quite sharp and good looking design. Just need to find a way to keep the kids from loosing them somehow.

My husband ordered this knife, along with another Saber knife. Since we already have a full set of the professional Saber knives and love them, we were very excited about our purchase. Unfortunately, when the knife arrived, about 1/4" of the knife tip had been broken off. Although we were quite disappointed, we set up a replacement with Amazon very easily. Much to our dismay, however, the second knife arrived in even worse shape than the first. It had dark pock marks all over it, including on the edge of the blade. It looked as though it had been exposed to some kind of acid or whatever agent would eat through the knife. It was totally unusable and unsalvageable. Once again, Amazon came through. They told us to get rid of the knife, and they would return our money. I don't know from which vendor they purchased these paring knives, but I hope that they discontinue doing so.
