Gorilla Food Co. California Pistachios Shelled (No Shell) Kernels Raw Unsalted - 2 Packs (1 Pound each) Resealable Bags

Just received a 16 oz bag at end of Sept 2019. Labeled as Best before 03/11/2020. Pistachios were plump... good color.. great aroma. I find the raw nuts to be very flavorful and fresh. Seems like a lot of people here on Amazon reviews have negative comments about raw nuts and expect them to taste like commercially prepared roasted and processed nuts. While there are amazing by themselves... half of this batch is headed for the mixer to become almond/Brazil/pistachio nut butter. At this point... the only unanswered question I have is how they are processed. If pasteurized... wish the label would say so. They are not advertised as organic but seems that many of the other raw California nuts aren't either.

The price is a little high for one pound and I found them a little bland. Raw pistachios from The Fresh market or Whole Foods are a little cheaper and tastier but I have to drive over one hour away get them. On the plus side, I found that a few pulses in the grinder release more fragrance and flavor. The color is also nice and green and there were very few yucky tasting ones in the whole bag. Nice in ice cream and attractive on chocolate cake.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE THESE. I never tried raw pistachios before this purchase. I thought it might be a healthy snack for work. I am not arguing that...if you love pistachios beware. I can not stop eating these. Then when I run or the next morning the "powerhouse of potassium" kicks in. I hate myself all over again. Just be warned, self discipline is necessary for this snack food. I have not tried them in a shake as the bag suggests because I love just snacking on them. I do share them with my coworkers and they enjoy them as well.

Great product. I love pistachios but am too lazy to shell them. Plus, salted pistachios are too salty for me. I love that these are unroasted so I can use them when I make granola in the oven. Also great for snacking while working. Overall perfect and would definitely buy again - especially since our local grocery store does not sell these. Thanks!!

I received mine yesterday and I'm writing a review because I took a gamble after reading a few reviews that said the product was not fresh. They were wrong. I love the flavor of raw pistachios and their pistachios are simply DELICIOUS! 😋

Please ignore my prior comment about not receiving the pistachios. I’m reasonably sure I’m responsible for this mystery. As far as I’m concerned no investigation is necessary and I will be reordering them.Gorilla Food Company delivers a good product.

just exactly what I wanted. For me, these make a nice healthy snack. Would not hesitate to purchase again from this seller. I like the fact that I can get these in the one pound packaging. I also appreciate that they are unsalted and already shelled. It's not always easy to find this. Most of the products, even though they are already shelled, are salted.
