Really badly designed part-could lead to a major disaster
At first this looks to be a great product but when I installed it the 1/4” male npt portion broke off from the rest of the fitting. As you can see in the photo the 1/4” male npt section was only held on the the rest of the fitting by about 1/32” of brass. Too flimsy of a design and this part could easily break if it were to be hit and cause a major gas leak.

Perfect for my needs
I capped off the end in order to use as a plug when I remove one tank so I can still use the other tank.

Low flow adapter
Ordered this adapter and it arrived quickly. I installed it between a large, propane tank at my home and my new gas grill. The flow of gas through this adapter is not sufficient to use the grill. The flames barely get enough gas to be lit. This may work for a smaller application, but a 5 burner grill will not work with this adapter.
