This is a well-made product. The lid fits perfectly to keep the contents warm and yet allows for easy pouring. The carafe keeps coffee warm throughout a full 8 hour work day. It's easy to clean too.One thing the instructions don't mention is that any vacuum-based thermos carafe should not be put in the dishwasher because expansion and contraction due to the high temperatures may break the vacuum seals, destroying the heat-retaining capabilities of the product. This applies to this carafe and to anything else that has a vacuum seal, so handwash it.

I purchased this is as a Christmas gift for my coffee loving brother. He likes to make a pot of coffee in the morning and take it with him to his home office and drink it throughout the day. He complained that his coffee would get cold long before he could finish it all. Now he can enjoy hot coffee for hours. He loves it.It really works well and keeps his coffee hot. It looks gorgeous, bright red and smooth. Much prettier than those silver ones you find in cafes and old diners. It works well and is easy to clean. It’s sturdy and the materials it’s made out of seem to be of high quality. I’d buy one for myself if I had a need for it.

Great carafe. Very sturdy, lid stays on tight, without leakage, and it looks great. Dishwasher safe was the big selling point for me. Washes well, but the inside is still wet when taking out of the dishwasher. Need to leave on dish rack to dry out a bit more. Because of the rubber ring, we still hand wash the lid, but it does say dishwasher safe. Keeps coffee warm for at least a couple of hours (that's the longest I have tested it out). Would definitely buy again if needed.

I've been looking for a thermos that can hold an entire pot of 12 cups of coffee. I finally found this one and I took a chance that it was going to be good, as there weren't a lot of reviews... Apparently everyone on the planet are not looking for such a beast.Anyway, I digress... I tried about 3 others until I settled on this one. It's a good thing I did, as it's worked out to be great. It holds the required 12 cups, it keeps it piping hot for the whole day, so that's it; it's just what I was looking for, and with a wide mouth it's easy to clean.

Holds an entire 12 cup carafe of brewed coffee. Stays hot (as you have your coffee brewer set) for a minimum of 3 hours (haven’t tried it any longer) Great shape; easy to pour. The lid keeps a very tight seal. Pouring brewed coffee is easy due to wide opening of carafe. I purchased the pink & love it. Would purchase again for a gift. Also, easy to clean.

This is a fabulous carafe! My husband and I each have a carafe of cold water so we will drink a lot throughout the day. We have gone through many different carafes over the years. This is the best ever. It is wide mouthed so getting ice cubes into it is not an agility test as it is with its narrow necked brethren. We fill them at night and the ice cubes are unmelted the next morning. The water is still icy. I haven’t used it for hot liquids but I can only imagine that it keeps things hot for hours. I got one first and my husband loved it so much that he had me order one for him too. Man, what a find!!! Love it.

Keeps water hot for about 18 hours, but it's still very warm after that. Love the design -- which I didn't realize until I purchased one with faulty design is very important. It makes pouring from a full carafe so much easier when this is designed correctly, I'm not technical enough to explain the why's behind it, but as an user I can only share that this works well.I love the way this looks too! At first, I was worried about the white paint coming off, but the quality is great!

We have been using this carafe for a few weeks now and like it very much. The first one we ordered was damaged in shipping but the second arrived ok. It was shipped just in the manufacturer’s display box so maybe request amazon outer packaging for an extra layer of protection.Coffee stays hot, has a wide mouth and lid removes easily for filling and cleaning. Number 6 Mileta cone fits on top so we brew coffee directly into the carafe. Will see how it lasts but appears well made.Update Dec 2020. We liked it so much we bought a second one for tea. First one is approaching 6 months and still very happy with it.

Love my carafe! Keeps my tea hot throughout the day! Very nice colour. Use it almost daily! Easy to clean with wide mouth and twist off cap. Easy to pour, just press and no drips!

holds lots of hot liquid..the only issue is that you have to really crank it hard to keep the pressure inthe can..i have been using it for a while for hot tea mainly and it works quite well.

I really hate when you can’t thoroughly clean all the pieces of something you eat or drink from, and the lid of this carafe seemed to have lots of nooks and crannies and no way to take it apart to clean it. I tried contacting Amazon and the manufacturer for instructions on cleaning, but didn’t hear back.I finally figured out how to dismantle it on my own, so I’m sharing in case it helps you!Picture 1: The lidPicture 2: Use something flat in this spot to pop it open (push down)Picture 3: The inside of the cup. Push down and turn on the circle in the middle, and it will pop out with the spring.Picture 4: Completely dismantled and ready for cleaning!Also, it keeps things warm for at least 24 hours. I pour a kettle full of hot water into it first thing in the morning. On occasion, I get distracted and don’t use it. When I go to pour it out and start over the next morning, the water is still hotter than bath water!
