TFA30.1030 Vista/Digital Window Thermometer or Internal Thermometer

The main issue I have with this is the viewing angle. You really need to look at it head on. For me, this is not a convenient place.

Bought one years ago which just packed in. So replaced with the same as it’s just what we want.

Bought as a gift for my dad, the first one didn't work but they sent another and it is v good

Very disappointed! Purchased for use in a greenhouse, fitted as per instructions. Only lasted three months and digital display failed. Changed battery, still no use. Would not recommend buying.

This thermometer worked fine until about a year, then failed. I have another that is still going, so I guess it is pot luck.

A useful gadget

This product was bought for use in the small room where my gas central heating boiler is sited. It is important that the ambient temperature does not fall below zero and the thermometer allows me to monitor that parameter.

I've had mine for over 3 years now, the longest I've ever had any garden thermometer (all the others break or stop working)I love it, it's so discreet. Be sure to stick a thermometer in a shaded area or you'll get false readings and be one of those people posting "39c in the garden!" on facebook.Mine is on a north facing window, out of the sun. It's very accurate, certainly more accurate than the in-car thermometer. It's under the porch, sheltered from rain.It resets itself around 8am, so I have to make sure I check the overnight forecast BEFORE breakfast, not after. It's a crucial bit of kit for gardeners: you can tell if you've had a cold night. You might think it's safe to be putting the pumpkin plants in the ground because it's sunny, but your thermometer will tell you if the nights are still too cold. Brilliant, well worth the money. Don't buy anything cheaper, or you'll be replacing it every year.
