Black Widow Premium Double Edge Swedish Steel Premium Razor Blades for Safety and Straight Razors - (100 Count)

I bought a new double edge razor and bought a box of blades. Those blades were terrible. They wouldn't hold and edge. One nice shave and that was itA few years ago, I bought a black widow straight razor that came with a box of blades. My wife uses it when she cuts my hair. I've used three blades so far.So, I bought a box of 500 for my new razor. They are great. I get a good week of shaved from a one blade. Sharp and smooth all the wayI change blades once a week, whether I need to or not. The blades, at full price cost only 16¢ apeace. (I got mine for 3¢each!) So, changing them costs little.These are great blades.

I'm usually a Feather guy but I'm trying to find something a little more economical. These blades fit the bill. They are sharp, smooth, and shave very well..

Use these in one of my hair cutting tools - cannot find double edge razor blades in the stores anymore!ordering on line is the only way to go and these worked great.

These blades are very good.I've been using a safety razor for many years. I've tried many blades and eventually settled Feather from Japan. My wife bought these because she thought my usual blades were getting a little pricey. I was VERY skeptical. I was surprised with the initial sharpness and was equally surprised with how long they stay sharp. They are very comparable to the blades I've been using and much less expensive. You've gained a customer.

Ill start by saying I have been using a DE safety razor for over 10 years, currently using a Merkur Progress 500, Adjustable DE Safety Razor. I have gone thru over 1000 blades (some good some not so) and thought to try a different brand going with the Black Widow. Well that was a bad idea and they are the farthest from giving a smooth shave in all my years. I don't like to knock a product and figured I would give them a few tries before writing this review - but man it hurt every time!!. They don't cut the hair but rather pull it - talk about razor burn that last - WOW. When shaving with a safety razor you don't use any force and let the weight of the razor do the work, this will get you a great shave in two shaves (rarely do I need to go for three) the Widow takes 4-5 and it is painful. I would be better off with a belt sander or the wives 3 month old shower razor!

Used one blade so far. I don't think I have the beastliest thick whiskers, really rather fine, but I have gotten better shaves from supermarket store brand blades. This blade was "grabby" from the first shave, pulling my whiskers before cutting, it felt like. I will give another chance for the next blade to confirm or cancel this review. Still, I'll bet same quality on my next shave.
