Best techie toy Iāve seen
This is a great gift for a tech-friendly person. Fatherās Day, Iām looking at you. Or you can splurge for yourself.Iāve had it for a couple days and itās fun! It will be the type of toy that I show off to my friends.I rated it 5 stars because itās technologically advanced and good enough to be good. But it reminds me of first generation robot vacuums - works as advertised but still needs work.1. The ball is attractively designed and my puppy hasnāt destroyed it (yet). But I shudder every time he sinks his teeth into it. Itās expensive enough that I will be annoyed if it doesnāt last. Time will tell. It needs to have a replaceable exterior.2. The auto-play function is cleverly designed. The bone taunts mercilessly and hilariously. But there are 10-15 second gaps in between movements which caused my border collie to lose interest. It needs multiple auto-play scenarios, like workout machines, so that you can play the one that your dog likes. You can adjust the activity-level settings, but that doesnāt do enough.3. Itās best in manual play, what a blast! The preset command buttons, such as spin, are easy to use and effective. But the joystick was unintuitive and a bit frustrating to me - perhaps a joystick gamer would be better at it. And how the heck am I supposed to know which way the bone considers āforwardā vs ābackwardā?!?4. Itās much better on hard surfaces. It kinda works on my low-pile rugs, but not as well and struggles to transition between surface types.5. The battery isnāt very good. You need to recharge it after every play session. Yes, you will forget and it will be dead when you want to use it. Of course, battery life is a problem for everything with batteries, so welcome to the club, wickedbone.

CRAPPY PRODUCT
Avoid at all cost. This thing even when fully charged refuses to connect to my phone. It only holds a charge for about 8 to 10 minutes. It is an utter piece of trash. As are other products from this company.

Dog loves it!
The media could not be loaded. My dog loves this toy. I got this one and the ball from the same company for Christmas, and he picks this one over the ball every time! I charged it and pulled it off the charger/put it back four times when I got it as the instructions said to activate it, and it has worked perfectly! The app only seems to work when you are close which is the only negative I see since I canāt leave it for them to play when Iām gone like I can with the ball. Super fun though since I can control the bone movements! I would have given 5 stars but the product had a couple bite marks on it when I got it and was used. My dog absolutely goes crazy for this toy when it turns on though so I HAD to keep it!! :)

Great engagement, but not for chewing. Must be supervised.
After reading reviews and seeing some of them really chewed up I was concerned based on the price. HOWEVER, this is basically a remote control dog bone. Itās not meant to be a chew toy in the slightest. I do LOVE it regardless. It is awesome for my super smart, puzzle beating, needs a challenge dog. For a solid 40 minutes she was engaged by it! I drove it around my house using the app and she followed close behind it. Any time she picked it up and brought it to her bed I would hit the jump or spin mode to free myself and I was off again driving it into another room with her hot on my tail! It banged against walls, under tables, and across lighter runner carpets with ease. The interactive mode responded to her pawing at it and was fun to watch, but again itās a remote controlled toy. No different if you were driving an actual RC Car around your pets. Itās not designed to be pinned between paws and chewed or left unsupervised. Itās meant to offer stimulation and something different other than fetch. We bought the battery operated ball with a weasel on it and although that is also a big hit, she catches it and within 10 minutes before accepting that it just rolls around. This WickedBone allows us to chase her, be hunted by her, and move in unpredictable ways. Highly recommend, but definitely not a toy you just leave out when youāre not in the room.

Not worth the money, sadly.
First, I gave this 3 stars instead of 2 because my dog actually does like playing with it, but that on its own isnāt enough, since my dog also loves cardboard boxes.Problems:1. There is a connector port that is in the middle of the bone. You use it to charge. There is a tiny silicone piece ā Iām talking fingernail clipping small ā that plugs in to cover the port. Itās not lost, because I know I put it down on one of two tables, but it is lost because I canāt even see it amongst my clutter. Itās also white and it blends in. Just crossing my fingers that no slobber ends up in the charge port. Wouldāve been smarter to put this under the tire. However,2. I canāt figure out how to take the tires off except brute force which just seems like a really good opportunity to accidentally punch myself in the teeth. This is a big deal because Ruby chewed threw the tires in hours. They are supposed to be replaceable. I certainly hope so. Take a look at the attached photos. Weāre a bit concerned about her eating this stuff.3. Without your phone on it is literally just a plastic bone. It has an automatic mode but the maximum setting is 20 minutes and your phone needs to be on and within 30ā. This defeats at least 1/2 the reason I bought it ā to entertain her while Iām busy. Further, I think itās less fun for her in automatic mode. I thought it was supposed to have a āsmartā function that learns your dogās behavior, but it just seems like random movements to me.4. Battery life is not spectacular considering that itās made to entertain a puppy. Again, since the maximum session length is 20m youād think the battery would last for more than a handful of sessions. It charges for maybe an hour or two for maybe 6-10 20m sessions is my estimate from memory. All in all I say save a bunch of money and buy a 10$ motorized bouncing ball toy. Ruby has gone through about five of them but she never gets sick of it and she can use it whenever she wants.
