Frostfire Inflatable Roofrack

This was a quick solution buy. Suffer from the flush rail problem on my car roof ( Fiat 500x ) bought the appropriate rails to find that the supplier at the time failed to supply the correct profile. Was in a desperate need for a solution in a limited time ……. this product was a risk buy, but it paid off 'Brilliant' simple to inflate, attached and strap down, took the additional precaution of buying 2 ratchet straps just for peace of mind. Threw a protection mat/sheet across my roof and a roof bag on the inflated roof rack. Travelled along the motorway at the legal speed limit and arrived at the destination with goods still secure to the roof (did return journey several days later and still not disappointed). So if you are desperate for a rack then this Universal product is ideal (even works on those pain in the rear flush roof rails)

Bought these to carry skis into the hills in Norway. 800km later, round trip, from plus a few degrees to minus 10 or so, these did a great job. Robust, simple, well made, keen price never lost pressure and skis got there and back up top without a bother. Also don’t underestimate the ability to quickly whip them off, deflate and roll for storage in a couple of minutes. Thoroughly recommended. I would also add these are great within the advertised capacity, could happily have put 3 sets of full size skis and poles up or 4 pairs of smaller skis, if used sensibly there can be no issue with them.

At just over £20 - these are amazing value. They work well and have built-in straps which makes things easier. I had 2 boards on these but the noise was horrendous - unsure if it was the straps or the boards themselves, but something worth mentioning! That being said, after just one use, the material started fraying on the straps/join to the inflatable part - I guess for the price you can' really complain, but don't expect them to replace a proper roof rack!

Bloody brilliant bit of kit, just strapped 10 rung triple ladder and brought back to Northamptonshire from Bury st Edmunds at speeds of 70 mph along the A14.... quite and stable all the way.. absolutely chuffed to bits with these. Just remember when inflating valves to push base down from cap till it clicks, this ensures valve is then one way only, as some people have said they can't inflate properly, this is the reason why

From the fotos you can see how and for what the roofrack was used. It was used once and you can see the result in the other two fotos. These are not abrasion marks, I tried polishing them out with t-cut without success. The underlying paint has been discoloured by, I can only assume, some chemical emission from the material used by the racking. I havent bothered to talk to the supplier - whats the point? They arent going to pay for a respray of the roof of the car.

Quick to fit, provides support for 2 SUPs and the included strap is more than long enough to secure them. I've only been round the block with them on, as Mrs Lager was a little apprehensive we'd lose 2 SUPs. Maybe I'll get further next time.

I purchased this for my holiday in the Caribbean. I needed a roof rack and as this is small to transport fitted into my luggage. This roof rack is excellent ,it is easy to use, strong and well made. It's good price an added bonus. It was perfect for my trip.

A good product, I took my SUP on around a 140 mile round trip, at 60-70mph and the Moontube performed perfectly. It was raining when I had to inflate the roofrack and it literally took a few minutes, so it was perfect. This product is going to be perfect for my next trip abroad when I need to hire a car.
