EXCELLENT QUALITY
These pans are awesome! I have a small home baking business and have been wanting to purchase more pans for the sake of efficiency. I love Fat Daddio, but they are pricey! I came across these and figured for the price, it was worth a try. Let me say....I'm currently working on a 4 tier cake and have no time for mess ups. So far, the cakes have come out beautiful and baked evenly without crusty edges. These pans are comparable to Fat Daddios and far superior to Wilton. I read the reviews about the label being difficult to get out. But I didn't have an issue, they popped right out and the sticky stuff came right off. The inserts even have measurement and baking time suggestions. Another perk is the box they come in makes for clean and easy storage! I originally bought 2 sets so when added to my current pans, I'd have 3 of each size. Well, I just bought another set and plan to retire my old mix matched ones.

Great set of pans!
I love these pans!! It took me a while to find a set that had just the 6", 8" and 10" pans for a reasonable price. I bought 2 sets to start. I like to bake two layers and then torte each layer, to end up with four (on regular buttercrram cakes). They came packaged well, clean easily and dry quickly (although I usually end up finishing the drying with a paper towel.. im a bit OCD and don't like dry spots >_<). I have used butter and flour, with and without parchment, both with great results. I LOVE using the baking strips with these, as i get no crust on the outside, which works especially well for my layered tres leches cake! Other reviews of this brand (on other products) have stated that pans arrived dented, or that the under rim is hard to clean because of sharp edges - neither of these have occurred with my pans (and i was so happy with the first set of 2, I bought a second set of 2 for my gluten free cakes). Another reviewer (again, from same brand, different product) stated that the labels are difficult to remove. I would slightly agree with this. They are cut in a perfect circle and have that little clear sticky tack stuff on the inside of the pan. I just spread out my hand and gripped both sides of the paper well with the pads of every finger, then pulled in.. it pulled right off. It took a bit of figuring out, but once I did, it was easy.. not enough for me to drop a star. All in all, wonderful!

Grrr. The packaging!
First of all, others have written of a tendency of these pans to flake (and I think I'm seeing that on one pan). For some unknown reason, the manufacturer thought it was necessary to glue a thin cardboard circle with advertising in each and every pan. WHAT A PAIN to remove! You can't get your finger nail under the edge, as it's too tight. You can't get a rubber spatula under it as that is too thick. The only thing that would work is the tip of a paring knife (which then scratches the pan) or a cake frosting style thin spatula (but still a possibility of scraping the pan). It was so frustrating to try and get all of them out for first baking. It's that rubber kind of glue, so that does come out easily, but be prepared to figure out how to get the cardboard out.Pans cook evenly, and when sprayed heavily with cooking spray, cake removes easily (didn't need flour). Not as easy to eject cake as with silicon, but still works well. The different tiers will end up different thicknesses unless you use your own judgment about filling the pans up (you can't just fill each one half way - the little ones will have much thicker tiers). It's a fun set to have, though. I would put the equivalent of two cakes in the largest pan (that cardboard? it has some chart about how to do this - but by the time I got the cardboard out, it was shredded, ha). Otherwise, that large tier will be ridiculously thin compared to the others. Then, you need to adjust the others similarly. One could fill each pan 3/4th full to get the right effect for most tier cakes (although for some specialty cakes, you'd need two of some of the pans - not sure they are sold separately.
