Buddy (The Puppy Place #5) (5) Paperback – May 1, 2007

I bought this book for my granddaughter and she absolutely loves it!! She is 10 yrs old and loves reading! I would recommend this book for your child! It really helps to develop the love of reading for children!

We use this book as a "Book Club" pick for our second graders at their school. The kids really enjoy this book - even the ones that may not have dogs at home. The book describes how a dog shelter works and what goes into taking care of new puppies. Its engaging and the family it centers around is very relatable for our kids.

The Puppy Place series is a wonderful nightly read for my young daughter. The stories and adventures are heartwarming and put a smile on her face :)

Three puppies!!! Now that's awesome!!! I love puppies myself. That's why I was so upset when my white golden retriever obi wan (obi for short, also my family is star wars crazy) died from cancer. But at that time we had a little puppy named vader. Anyways, this was awesome and I loved buddy the most out of all these characters. And this story was great!

I loved every bit of this amasing book. I loved the ending too because(I don't want to spoil it) guess what Charles nd Lizzie fianally get a puppy of their own. My 10 year old son struggled to read until he opened these Puppy Place books. Now he is excited to read and can't wait to see wait is going to happen in each book!
