Colour not at all as described.
The plant arrived in good condition, though had been previously trimmed in a way that created three large, somewhat awkward branches. It will require careful pruning this autumn. The flowers are not at all like those pictured. That orange colour? Nonexistent. In the seller's image, only the pinkish-purple version above where the butterfly is sitting is accurate. That is to say, this buddleia cross produces purple buds that open into dark pink blooms with an orange throat, but it never produces orange flowers.Apparently 'Flower Power' (this cultivar is also known as 'bicolor') is often altered in photos to make the colour transition look more dramatic. The description is particularly misleading: "Sumptuous tropical colours from orange to yellow to purple all in one colour-changing flowerhead." Not so. The flower buds are a deep purple (similar to 'Black Knight') and open to the purplish-pink colour with, if you look very closely, orange throats. No yellow, and no 'colour change'. From a distance, the impression is purplish-pink. I held off on this review until I had watched a few flower heads develop and then die off, and they never attain the coloration described or pictured. Does this coloration develop as the plant matures? Forums suggest it does not but, if it does, I will amend this review accordingly. As with any buddleia, this one is a favourite of pollinators. The flowerheads are constantly busy with honeybees and the odd butterfly, even in the heart of the city. I can recommend it on that merit, but if you are specifically looking for the colour pattern promised, as I was, I could not recommend it.

In great condition
The colours are just as shown in the picture, and it is a nice healthy and reasonably sized plant. Thank you from myself/butterflies/bees here.
