I have had my system for 1 week now.Pros- This system really is Plug and Play. Cameras come up on the monitor as soon as they are plugged in.- Picture quality is very good.- Wireless signal is very strong.Cons- Motion Sensing; Using these outside. Motion sensing is terrible. It will send an alert almost continually (hundreds a day) if it is windy (tree branches) or raining/snowing. Tried reducing sensitivity, did not help. Even tried "blocking out" where the trees and bushes were. Not much help either. Ending up just turning off motion sensing on all outdoor cameras.- Mobile App/Software; This mobile app, IP Pro, does not let you fast forward viewing of recorded video or indicate on the recording when the motion events happened. With IP Pro, you have to remember the time on the alert, then using the timeline to find the part of the video where the event happened.I had to purchase as second system and went with a Swann system that uses heat detection for motion sensing. It is much better for sensing motion without false indications. The Swann system also has a much nicer mobile app, HomeSafe, that is easier to use. You can select to just view motion events and it will take you right to them. It even shows a small line on the timeline so you can quickly access just the events. You can fast forward x2, x4 as you are viewing to help view what you want to see.Conclusion; If you want an event recorder, I would not recommend this unless it is to but used inside.That's my 2 cents. I read through several reivews before purchasing a system. I hope this help others.

Originally I gave them a two star rating:I have mixed reviews, first the product seems to be nice, Customer support on the other hand Not so much. My product did not come with any manual. I tried emailing and calling customer support. No reply on the email. Their voice message box is always full ( I called 4 different times on four different days). They did call me back and left a brief message to look at their YouTube videos, tried to call and TEXT them back with no results. Their web sight need work, their are links that are broken to Amazon. There is no downloadable manual that I could find. So I looked at all the YouTube videos I could find and was able to piece most of it together. Over all it was not hard to get it to work, but it would have been really nice to have a manual added in the box and have customer support when needed. OH and I could not find anywhere on their web site to only buy one replacement camera should one go bad. You'll have to buy more than one or a complete new system. So there is a great area for improvement. I even asked if they could email me a pdf of the manual and didn't even get a reply to that.Update: after giving this review a day later I did get an appology and a pdf file of the manual.Update 2: More Updates later in the week they fixed their fixed their web site to include the owners manual to download. It took them a little while, but they really put in the effort to make things right. So in the end they came thru.

I gave the product five stars, out of the box, completely different from some of the cameras I used before.The camera system itself works well and is easy to set up. The quality of the picture is comparable to expensive camera. I have a similar system at work, commercial level,and it's not better than this system. The WiFi signal is consistent, there is no loss sinal.My phone's online access is consistent and displays all images in a minute, the manual was written clearly. Well made.In general, this is a good wireless camera system to protect your home and business, I recommend it!

The cameras are excellent! Problem is that the antenna connection is in the wrong place. If you mount straight out from a vertical wall and then want the camera to look horizontally to the right. That works just fine but if you want the camera to point horizontally to the left, it cannot be done because the antenna prevents the camera from swinging 90 deg. horizontally and level to the left. Mounting the camera vertically from say the soffit will work but it is difficult or impossible to find a mounting point on most soffits except at the very roof edge.

After looking at other camera's I decided this witless security camera system. This one would work best for me because of the operating distance between the base and camera. The system was very easy to install and set up. I have one camera on my barn which is almost 350 feet away from the base and it works great. We recently had a cold spell of -30 F temperatures for several nights, the camera's remained in operation during that time. I am very impressed with it's operation.

The item arrived on time as promised. The cameras were relatively easy to install and support returned calls fairly quickly. It was a tiny bit frustrating when on time restraints for an install to have to wait for calls back when you run into issues. Overall my organization is very happy with the product. I did extensive research before I made the purchase and I'm confident that I made the right one.

Cameras loose their signals constantly. If the connections to the cameras are made....the "live video" has 5 to 10 second gaps. The cameras are 30 feet away from the Recorder with one wall (front of the home) in between. If you don't mind frozen images on your monitor for 10 seconds at a time....then this is the system for you. The one good thing about this system is when images (didn't use "video" intentionally) are available....they're crystal clear.

No problems with this setup at all, easy set up on your phone!It does work on tv or desktop through a hdmi cable! You do not need a special monitor screen!I have it hooked up to a Dell Desktop!1080p is great during the day! night vision is great! i would recommend!I am completely happpy with my purchase!
