A lovely little set of units (control and remote). The instructions were not as clear as they could be, but the design is very intuitive AND will support cameras from different manufacturers so it won't need to be replaced if I get a different camera. I do wish the remote had a wrist strap post, to help secure it "in the field", but that doesn't justify marking it down a star for this review. This now gives me the remote capability my camera natively lacks, and its illuminated display means it works well at night for astrophotography.

It plugs into my DSLR Canon and it works well. It isn't obvious to set all the settings you want, especially without the instruction book. It really is good value but make sure you keep hold of the instructions.

The remote itself is great, once you figure it out which isn't difficult. A big issues is there is no power button on the controller.It powers down itself when not in use but once in my bag it beeps non stop due to buttons being pressed. This means the batteries won't last long unless you remove them between uses.You can turn the beep off but not the controller itself. I'd suggest hest choosing another brand as this is a deal breaker
