This is a cute item. Wish it were covered with a thicker layer of seeds but the birds & squirrels don’t seem to mind!

I love birdhouses (make, buy and have a lot), this is the ultimate and BEST of all types! It was shipped so very well, intact with a tincy wincy bit of seeds that fell off, in other words, shipped fantastic with TLC! I set it out and within about 10 +/- minutes the birds landed, inspected and seemed to adapt and love it (daily). The seller and maker provide detailed instructions and how to reseed it, including the ability to send it back so that they reseed it, they are awesome! If you are a bird-lover, want an uber-bird feeder that will make you go crazy with delight... this is it! OMG I'm beyond pleased!!!

When the sun came out and the snow melted off of the birdhouse roof, the little songbirds were immediately sampling.

I love the idea of the birdhouse with bird seed covering the birdhouse. It is enjoyable to watch the birds fly in and eat and then afterwards you can either reseed the birdhouse or sand it down/paint it for a bird to nest in. They are a little too pricey for me so this is only a Christmas treat that I allow myself.

When I ordered our edible bird house April 27, 2020 I had NO idea how much birds of all types would love feeding from/on it. We even had a little family of Black Cap Chickadees move in one, nested and had a few tiny eggs and then adorable little hatchlings.So when ordered another edible bird house to add to our feeding stations imagine our surprise! Just as cute. Covered in seeds. No front door!Still cute but this one only as a feeder.

I Purchased this product after I read the product information that stated that squirrels would not like the seeds on the house so they would not be a problem. Not one bird touched the house and as you can see the squirrels devoured it! That was really disappointing.

Nice addition to my backyard.
