poor packaging amazon shipped in plastic bag.
product is great, well made and works as advertised. Amazon shipped item that weighs 2lbs and is made of plastic in thin plastic bag when it should have been in a box so corner was chipped.

solid and effective
Product accepts a 6x6 swivel. It did not include mounting screws/bolts. Release lever seems strong and durable and the item appears to be well made/heavy duty. I mounted my boat seat into the bracket and it locks into place with minimal slop.

Nice item. fairly easy to install. You need to jiggle it a little, but it works.

Sturdy Seat Bracket
Pro: seems strong enough to accommodate over-weight old guy. Easy to order, and shipped fast. Seems to fit other manufacturer's pedestals.Con: Mounting bolt pattern is not the same as that of other manufacturer. Big nuisance remaking a custom base to accommodate it. Wise should reach out to others and encourage standardization. Would recommend it to others if bolt pattern is not an issue.

BROKEN IN TRANSIT
VERY GOOD PRODUCT BUT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF IT HAD BEEN IN ONE PIECE WHEN IT ARRIVED CRACKED AND SPLIT,WAS GOING TO RETURN IT BUT IT WOULD COST ME MORE TO RETURN IT THAN THE PRODUCTWAS WORTH SO I TOOK THE HIT ON THIS ONE ALSO THIS BRACKET WAS 7 INCH AND THE SWIVEL WAS 6 INCHSO A BIT OF A MISS MATCH.

I had bought a small fishing raft with a seat and post but needed a quick and easy way to dismount the seat when storing the boat. This did the trick.

misleading description
Not happy with this item at all. It is a plastic frame construction with a metal bracket screwed to it. It says to use only with 6.25" swivel, but does not fit a 6.25" swivel. Would try to send it back but it would cost $15 to ship it and I would not get that money back. I just wasted my money.

Easy to install / Really fast delivery
This product was really easy to install. They are strong.The seats are a bit sticky getting in and out but may need a bit of use.Nice product. I would buy again

Measure your seat base
The swivels i have on my boat seat are new and come from Canadiantire .The openings on the quick release is about 7 1/8'' the swivels are also 7 1/8'' so they won't go in also the depth of the quick release is 6 7/8'' so you have to grind your swivels down to just below 6 7/8'' in order for the lock to go by the swivel to hold it in place . I like the construction of the quick release it's strong and after grinding my swivels down they fit like a glove .The company also mentions it Fits 6.75" Trendler-Wise Brand Swivels. you might want to check them out they might go on without grinding . I'd buy them again any day their great

Exactly as advertised
Product is exactly what I hoped it would be and performs very well.A real time saver for me as it is mounted on a pontoon boat that requires assembly each time out.

Well made, very secure.
Well made and easy to install. I added a middle seat in my canoe for my son. The seat slides in and locks securely. Easy to remove when we are loading the canoe up.
