Brocraft Kayak Portable Camera Mount/for GO Pro Mount

Just bought this along with the Brocraft Quick Release Track Rail Adapter that I planned to use them together. The shaft on this is 1/8 inch too long to fit and lock into the Track Rail Adapter. I have had two Brocraft Rod Holders and they fit and lock into the Track Rail Adapter just fine. Not sure why Brocraft made this mounting shaft longer. Doesn’t make sense not to size similar products the same. I may return this which is too bad since I was looking forward to using this combination and I bought Brocraft specially because I though their products would be compatible.
