Keto meal prep
At the risk of sounding paid to write this review (I wasn't!) I am IN LOVE with this cookbook. The recipes are super detailed and easy to follow. As someone who doesn't have a lot of cooking knowledge and really needs a recipe to follow, I can't say enough about her ability to lay out each step and be clear. Another big plus is that the ingredients are normal. Most of them are already in my poorly stocked pantry, and those that aren't can be bought at the local grocery store - no specialty trips needed. We bought the cookbook and our keto meal prep day, have cooked about 10 different recipes and haven't been disappointed with any of them. In fact, while part of me wants to stick with the ones we've done because they were SO good, another part of me worries that I'll be missing out on an even better meal by not trying new ones. The only thing I would say is that we have been adding more seasoning than is called for. I think the recipes are generally under-seasoned (which is good, because you can always add more) so we've just taken to increasing the amount a bit. The other thing (and this is just a personal pet peeve) is that some of the recipes call for things that you need to make with another recipe. So you need to make sure you plan ahead for that, or just use something pre-made like we do (I'd love to use home made chicken stock, but the boxed stuff will just have to do).

Did the author pay attention to his pictures?
The first thing that struck me is the cover. Both of the containers have high carb items in them. The first lunch container has white rice and the second lunch container has pasta in it. Then the grapes. I am guessing half a cup? So about 8 carbs in grapes alone. Never mind the rice in the larger compartment. What happened to Keto?The book seems like an ok beginner book. I have seen better, but I have also seen much worse for over double the price. Just a heads up, the pictures are in black and white. Given the book was $8, I was not expecting any pictures at all. The recipes are simple. The tips seemed decent.As I was looking through the book, I noticed that the pictures of the food are similar, but not always the food you are making. One example was page 41. You are making a chicken and avocado lettuce wrap. The picture shows a tortilla wrap. Another is for Parmesan cheese crackers. Instead we see those small round toast crackers in the picture.While I understand the book is not very expensive, the mistakes make me wonder if the macros are correct. I just do not feel that I can trust this book like I can some of the other cookbooks I own.

An excellent cookbook
I love this cookbook! I bought the paperback edition and I have not had any issues with the binding yet. Even if that happens, I will find a way to manage it. This book is worth it. I've been a vegetarian for 8 years and this is the best and most helpful vegetarian cookbook I have found. Unfortunately for me, I do not like most Indian or Asian foods. They form the bulk of most of the vegetarian cookbooks I have bought. This one gives me plenty of other options as well as Asian and Indian foods in case I should develop a taste for those someday. I do keep trying! I find that the instructions are clear. The photographs are helpful. I like the explanation they give at the beginning of each recipe. The recipes I have tried have turned out well and I have a long list of others to try. I know that many of these will find a regular place in my menus. The one thing that I would like to see included is nutritional information, or amount of protein at the very least as these are concerns that I think many vegetarians have. I know that I do.

I guess no one proof reads this?
There are many grammar mistakes which makes me wonder how accurate this book even is. Some of the recipes are not keto friendly. The pictures have rice and grapes in them lol not that those are unhealthy, but the book is supposed to be about keto meal prep, and those aren't "keto friendly" in the amounts pictured.The main thing that bothers me is there isn't even much information about meal prep. There is just a list of recipes, but no information about prepping them ahead of time and freezing them. Many of the recipes are salads or use some sort of lettuce- have you ever tried to freeze lettuce? I have before I learned more about food science, and trust me it does not turn out well!

Fantastic step by step meal planning cookbook
Having personally worked with clients as a registered dietitian, I can attest that most of the difficulty in getting one to reach their health goals is not just eating healthier, but preparing and having the right foods stocked, so that when hunger hits, you’re prepared. My favorite part of the whole book is the step by step process for Sunday meal preps. Choosing a day to commit to your shopping, prepping, cooking and storing is no joke. In many way, this is meal prepping in a nutshell, but Toby makes it easy and fun (believe it or not), because the organization is already done for you. Just follow each step for how to put your meals together for the week, and chances are you won’t go hungry ;) Lastly, the book provides 3 meal plans to choose from, from weight loss, clean eating and building muscle. Pick your goal and head to those recipes, easy peasy.

This cook book is amazing! These recipes are so simple and so delicious. This is defiantly my go to book for new and exciting meals to make! I highly recommend!

Ohhh! I like it sooo much! Keto Meal Prep is the easiest way to cook almost anything. I have used it almost daily since I bought it a few weeks ago. It's simple to learn how to use and all the controls are intuitive. I am especially impressed with the meat I have cooked in it. Searing the meat right in the Keto Meal Prep before the cooking process means less pots to clean and the flavorful juices stay in the pot throughout the entire process. I cooked two small pork loins that were marinated in teriyaki sauce. The result was very tender meat that was infused with the teriyaki flavor during the cooking process. I hsve just started to steam vegetables since our garden is now producing fresh organic summer squash, beans and corn. So far all have turned out super delicious and full of flavor. I heartily recommend the Instant Pot. Great keto meal prep! Is it best book here? Great book! Lovely to read it! Thank you

This was an informative book about analyze people so easily. Very interesting read and very easy to apply to your daily life. I highly recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this book. The information (especially the easy to follow meal plans) was easily presented and made me feel that making the leap to vegan eating was a possibility. I would definitely recommend this book
