These skewers are very nice easy to install and remove. totally looks like it would detour a thief, I bought a second set for my road bike.

Great idea, but I was able to get these off my bike with a basic tool that most people own (omitting the tool name as not to promote theft).

Yes a dedicated thief could rip off your wheels, but not the common person walking on the street, they also look streamline and cool

I purchase this item to replaced my easy open levers for my Hybrid bike. It fits great and looks awesome.Pro:-Light Weight-Needs tool to open easily-Looks good on bikeCon:-Not so heavy duty-Can be opened using two regular hardware store tools** The one for the front wheel broke after the 4th time I removed the tire. The glue that holds the other en of the skewer in place came of from I guess the vibration of the wheel as I ride in the streets of NYC, so I was forced to replace it with a more solid skewer from another company. I miss the looks but I am glad I won't get stuck unable to remove the wheel for repair. I would recommend if you are a casual rider, not a commuter.
