Awesome small fryer
This unit was a last minute gift purchase and has surpassed expectations. Does a great job frying , we like that it uses a small amount of oil and heats up quickly. The size works well for our small family. The only caveat is that the outside of the unit does get hot so be careful.

Even frying
We have used deep fryers for years. We purchased this because our old one simply isn’t getting clean enough on the outside. This one fry’s evenly, doesn’t require long soaking and gives good coverage from lid to prevent getting burned by any bubbling grease. Thus far no issues pooping out cooked grease for cleanup and no greasy residue is left behind. I wish the window was a bit bigger but overall good fryer and we are going to order another as we have a large family. Not saying this doesn’t handle big batches, simply because we would like one for fish, one for poultry.

Love it!
I just love this little fryer. It is so cute and takes up minimal space. It wipes clean using vinegar. Top is a bit flimsy and come off track but is able to be snapped back into place.

wow!!!! exceeded expectations
Assuming this doesn't break, it's my new favorite kitchen appliance!!!- smaller size = less oil needed, easier cleanup, etc. We used 48oz of canola and it worked great. Obviously, the basket is very space constrained, so don't try to cook for a family - this is a 1-2 person device.- easy cleanup: comes apart and each part sponges down easily. pro-tip: be gentle with the fragile heating element & temp sensors. Obviously let the oil cool first, but then use a funnel to drain the oil. With 48oz of oil. there was no splatter.- fast recovery time: oil recovered temperature quickly. pro-tip: use room temp items, not cold ones.- easy to get right: for simple things like fried fish, it was easy to tell when the pieces were done.

Great for 2 people cooking
This fryer is awesome! Takes up very little space and fries great! Will hold quite a bit in the basket, but holds even more without it. Highly recommend!

A bit small
This deep fryer is fantastic in the way it fries. I fried chicken thighs in it and love the way it fried them; however, at first, I tried cooking three of them at one time and because they were larger in size, I kept having to move them around. Another time I fried two and that worked better. I gave it 5 stars because I love the way it fries and cooking for two people I didn’t need anything super large, but to buy again, I would have chosen next size up.

Dumb Design!
Wow, I was so excited to finally own my first deep fryer and to cook up some wings at home without settling for baked wings only (sorry if you love your wings baked). The fryer was fairly easy to set up although it took my husband's gadget smarts to figure out the proper way to attach the handle to the basket (instruction manual was not too clear for me). The basket is decent sized but the oil depth for about a gallon does not come up very high when food is immersed with the basket. So essentially you should only do a single layer of wings for example which for me was about 8 wingettes. The oil heated up in about 10 or so mins to the 375, I dropped my wings in and this first batch of wings came out nice and crispy after about 12mins.Unfortunately this device proved to be a one hit wonder. I dropped my next batch of wings in and I noticed after about 3mins, that the oil was kinda simmering. I decided to let it keep going and then by the 10min, you could tell the oil had totally cooled off and my wings were just taking a cold swim in oil. After an hour of research (because the manual did not indicate anything about this design disaster!), I got to learn about the dumb "reset" issue with this thing. I managed to reset it to finish cooking my 2nd batch of wings. Guess what? The stupid thing reset again with my 3rd batch of wings in the process of cooking but ofcourse, this time I couldn't reset immediately and had to unplug, disassemble the control unit, let it cool off for about 20mins and then reset again to get my oil back up to 375!. At this point(2hrs into my wings dinner prep) my family gave up on dinner and ate left overs. How in the world did this pass design review??? A basket too small to make enough food for a mid size family in one batch of cooking, yet a heating element that won't allow you cook more than one batch of food within 45 mins...huh??? All I can say is for now, I have been put off shopping for any more deep fryers.

Great small fryer!
Have only used this fryer a few times but find it to be a purchase worth it's value. I bought the 2 quart size, overall footprint is about the size of a toaster but It holds more than I thought! The onion rings in the photo were all cooked in one batch and are sitting on a 10-1/4 inch paper plate. Verified the temperature settings with a separate oil thermometer -- oil temp was the temperature set on the controller. And the controller has a "stand by" setting you can use to keep the oil hot but not actively heating if you need time to prep another batch of food to fry. The removeable oil pan has a pour spout for easy draining. Cleaning was pretty easy -- I started with Ajax dish soap and hot water, but components still felt a little greasy so I sprayed with Dawn Powerwash and that did the job. Used a water-dampened microfiber cloth on black controller box as recommended in owner's manual and it did remove the oil splatters. As others have mentioned, cleaning the heating elements themselves is a little tricky as you have to be careful not to bend/damage anything and you can't immerse because of the controller unit, but, again, some Dawn Powerwash spray and a dishcloth did the job. Be careful cleaning the outside unit housing -- the bottom inside edges are sharp. Overall, I feel this fryer is worth the purchase price and do recommend it.

Excelente producto
Es pequeña pero cumple su función muy bien. Frie perfectamente las papas, las milanesas de pollo, etc. Me gustó mucho y no abarca mucho espacio.

Great Product
I bought this fryer to make our favorite wings at home during the lock down. The product arrived well packaged, on time and is perfect for the job intended. I was going to order a smaller size, but I am very glad I did not as I can cook enough wings for my husband and I in one go. I would recommend this product. It is very easy to clean and easy to use. Cooks wings perfectly, pub quality!

Perfect size and easy clean
I bought and wanted this size as we’re a 2 person home. I wanted something that would reach a high temp without being too big (and easy to clean without making it too much of a chore to use.)This is perfect. Cooks everything nicely and has a surprising amount of room for a smaller deep fryer . Would highly recommend

Great product with reasonable price
This deep fryer is so far so good. I use it to fry fries for my kids and it always turns out crispy.I had Waring deep fryer for 10 years and it finally broke up on me. I wanted to buy the same thing but it has been discontinued. I decided to give this a try after reading the reviews on it and I am glad I did.
