Great didge for little money
I rated this as a 4 because I like the didge. It really isn't a 5 for "I love it!". It looks better than if I made a didge out of PVC pipe. The mini CD gave me trouble, however. I have a computer with a standard regular CD/mini CD tray, but the spindle will not pick up the mini CD. It instead throws it around the CD tray making a racket, even though the mini CD is in the mini CD groove. So I cannot play it on my computer. My wife's computer will play it, and it is one of those trayless kind. I was surprised that a trayless CD player would play a mini CD, with its size. However, the mini CD required her to download RealPlayer to play the movies, and she didn't want to deal with RealPlayer's slowness. If it had been a full sized CD, I could have easily played the entire CD on my computer. The mouthpiece easily came off while I was unpacking it. However, I find it to be a good thing because I noticed some brown dust of some kind on the black mouthpiece. So I washed it and dried it before I put it back on the didge. The mouthpiece is also good for taking off so when I want to stuff the bag it came with down the neck of the didge to dry off some of the moisture that collects inside. The bag is fine for its intended use, but after untying it and pulling the bag neck open, I already lost a string through the hole and had to push it back through the loop out the hole to be able to tie it back up again. I knotted both ends, but I don't think that will solve the problem.Other than that, this didge is low on the volume. I was playing it sixty five feet away across rooms to entice my wife to see what the heck all that noise was (she didn't know I got the didgeridoo), but she didn't even hear it with the box fan going on medium speed. It's a good thing I guess, but we have a dog that still runs whenever he sees me picking it up to play. So it is good on the ears, but torture for one out of three dogs.

For the price and first time start up/beginner player, its a great deal
I purchased this before making a choice to buy a more expensive, authentic didge. It is made of plastic, but it is durable and fairly attractive. The instructional tape is good good enough to get going. I recommend it for someone who doesn't know anyting about playing, but is interested in checking it out before making a real commitment.
