Does what it says.......
Took a chance on this item and was pleasantly surprised when it worked as advertised. We have an evaporative humidifier by the bed which works well but is terribly difficult to see how full it is when adding water. I taped the sensor to the side of the plastic reservoir at the 'full' level. Now when adding water, we just turn on the sensor and watch for the red LED on the sensor to turn on.......... reservoir full! Simple now. I used a small plastic box, 9v battery and small toggle (On-Off) switch. I had to adjust the Sensitivity screw on the sensor until it sensed the water level properly.

Works as advertised.
The sensor absolutely worked, but it would not pass enough current to activate a thin 24v Allen Bradley Relay card. Then I accidentally shorted it out while testing and ruined it. If you want it to work a relay, order one that is triggered with a Mosfet. Those are cheap and available on Amazon also.

Didn't work as advertised.
Item refused to work as described and documented in the instructions. It required another ground lead into the liquid to make it work marginally but not reliably. Tested it multiple ways. Ended up tossing it in the trash.

Works great!
Inexpensive way to add a black water tank alarm without drilling through the tank. Comes with decent instructions. I hooked it up to an alarm and a switch.

Accurately indicate water level
I use this on a marine holding tank to turn on a LED light and warn me when the level is near capacity.

Low current
Not enough current to drive a relay. You'll need a transistor or two in your design.

The sensor turns on all the time.
Sensor turn on all the time even turning the sensitivity level made no diff.

Does not work
The little LED light goes on when liquid is present, but there is no output signal. The company did reach out to me with additional information, but the unit is still not functioning correctly.I have since purchased the same unit form another company and it works fine.
