For a beginnning student in horticulture this book is great for anyone interested in greenhouses and how they work. This gives loads of information on logistics of placement of the greenhouse, glazing material, form, heating/cooling and information that is really invaluable to the greenhouse manager. It is concise and well written, easily understood and informative. I have really only scratched the surface of what is in this book. Very useful for thinking through design quandaries of planning a new greenhouse range. As expected, the lighting chapter is not cutting edge current, but the rest, as is the lighting, a good overview of options, best practices and laying out automation possibilities. Useful for a quonset to multi acre range designs.

Informative and definitely would recommend

Fabulous book, I have spent hours reading and learning about green houses. I really recommend this book for beginners in this topic.

Everything from greenhouse covering material and ventilation, to hanging pots systems, is covered in an easy-to-understand way that makes it a valuable resource for beginners and professionals alike.
