Tomoe River Field Journal Notebook + Nylon Cover Organizer

Great product, this is the second item I've purchased from Bond Travel. While this item does come with several slips and pockets it's not designed to be loaded down with gear. It does not have a slip for a pen but does have ample areas to place various kinds of pens. The included A5 notebook is top notch and, arguably, worth the cost of the whole setup alone. It's built very well. I can tell it will withstand any travel. If you are looking for something that is built well and doesn't take up a lot of space while giving you the ability to include some of your more compact essentials while ALSO looking sleek...this is your notebook and cover.

I have to admit I love this journal, but not the cover. Not being able to buy refils for this cover is useless and expensive for one time use only. I did not purchase this because of the cover. Lets face it there are much better looking covers out there especially made in leather. I purchased this for the paper since it will be what I am going to be writing on. I recieved and email from the founder that stated these books are no longer available and once gne they are gone for good. Sad to see this go the way of the Dodo bird.

This is a really great journal. The Tomoe River paper is fabulous and very fountain pen friendly. The A5 dot grid is super for bullet journaling. The cover is sturdy and the book sits snuggly inside. It is a bit tight and you’d be a little hard pressed to fit anything else in with the journal. I’d love to see the cover a bit looser and maybe include a pen loop. Overall I would defiantly recommend this and would purchase it again.

I thought that the journal would fit into the cover, but it did not, which is upsetting. The cover seems to be well made and does the job.

Great little notebook + zipper keeper. If I had 3 minor things I would improve upon:1) Paper is a bit thin, but it does give you more pages that way.2) I would love to see a couple of pen slots.3) It could be a fraction of an inch deeper. I put a generic multi-pen (Sarasa) in and it strains the capacity a smidgen.

This is a super deal—a nice nylon zippered case with assorted pockets AND an A5 Tomoe River paper dot journal. A few people have mentioned the lack of a pen loop but one of the pockets is deep enough to put pens in. I would definitely buy this again.

This is the 6th field Journal I've purchased. The cover works perfectly. The Tomoe River A-5 journal is the best fountain pen friendly paper made. If I needed to find a fault, 296 pages is more than I normally use.

The cover is strong and well-made, smooth zipper. Paper quality is excellent and the whole product is easy to carry. I'll be back for more items. Highly recommend!
