Francine Farine de Ble Tous Usages T45 Wheat Flour 2 X 1 KG

I have no idea if this is completely representative of general purpose flour available in France (it wouldn't surprise me) but I found this to be a very fine flour allowing easy work and consistent results across many cooking and baking requirements. If you need to spend this amount of money (which we decided was justifiable in the early days of the lockdown and shortages in shops due to over-reaction - you know who you are), then you can be sure you are getting something of high quality.

everything I have baked using this flour has turned out fine.

I tried it against plain flour while baking croissants, the ones made with plain flour were much better

Ordered 11 April at 4x the normal supermarket price, it arrived with an expiration date of June 2020. Price gouging!
