So this is my second watch box. I bought this one as I my first was overflowing and cheap. For the second I wanted a better watch box, for my nicer watches. I wanted the window as I have solar watches. My first box the drawer was for jewelry, so I wanted the drawer to be for watches. I wanted the deeper drawers so there was plenty of room for the bigger watches. The last thing I was looking for was the hinges. My first watch box there was a hinge in the 1 watch slot. This pretty much made the slot unusable. So this design alone on this box is an improvement.This box delivers everything it says . The pillows are nice, soft, hold their form while be able to be "squished." I say this as my old ones were felt covered hard cardboard. Some bands couldn't go around them properly. This one works on all bands while be able to stay stable. Honestly leaps and bounds better than my old box.Did this box cost more? Yes, about twice the price. But the quality is there to make the difference in price while holding twice as many watches.

Nice wooden watch case. Holds about 20 watches depending on size. I have big Invicta, Citizen and Seiko watches and they fit just fine. If you want to lock it there is a lock and key but it is a joke. As far as I am concerned it is for decoration only. The only issue I have had is that the stitching on some of the pillows has come apart on the underside of the pillow but they are still usable and I have not bothered with fixing them. I use the case daily, it is on my dresser and looks just fine on it. It does what it is supposed to do, relatively well made and looks good and a reasonable price. Can’t ask for more. Would have given it 5 stars if the stitching did not start to come apart so quickly.

I purchased this for my Dad for his 80th birthday. He has accumulated many watches over the years, and I wanted him to have something special for them to be in.This Watch Box does not disappoint! It is very well made, the wood is beautiful and the inside is quite nice. I wasn't sure I would like the brown color, but I put one of my husband's watches on a pillow and it looked great.I like that this comes with a lock & key. Whether my Dad uses it, I don't know. It looks nice, adds a little character to what would have been a plain wood box. And that fact that it's a glass top display adds even more.This is a perfect gift for my Dad. I feel that I spent my money well on this gift.I will update in mid December once I've given him his gift.

This is my second one, the first had a solid top instead of glass which I prefer, but it is no longer available. This fits watches of all sizes and actually holds more than advertised if the watches are smaller and daintier. I crammed a lot into the first one, but finally had to get a second box.The quality is what you'd expect for the going price of $70, if it were the supposed full retail price I would expect more. My only real complaint is that it is ugly. It's dark brown with rust brown lining and pillows. Maybe that's okay for men, but why assume only men need watch boxes? There should be choices of wood finishes and lining/pillows. It serves its purpose very well and if it were made with color options it would be perfect for everyday watches which its what I need it for.

I am a watch fanatic. Most of the watches in my collection are Fossil brand watches, the larger scale commonly referred to as boyfriend watches. Even with the larger size, my watches fit perfectly. I have every spot filled and a few watches lay flat under the two larger pillows. In my opinion, this watch would be great for a man or a woman. I love and collect old keys, so I chose this box in part because of the key, not because of security, but the antique style key was an accent that made this watch box stand out among the plentiful choices.Shipping was very quick, and the watch box was packaged very well and was well protected among various sizes and shapes of styrofoam.The quality of the watch box is worth mentioning. It is well made and high quality. The details even down to the pillows are all top knotch.I look forward to having this box for many years and I highly recommend it.
