Homestyles Bedford Black Nightstand

I searched high and low for an affordable white nightstand with one drawer and a single bookshelf. This was exactly what I was looking for, and I am very pleased with it. When I first opened the box and saw how much assembly was required I was rather intimidated, but it proved to be easy and actually rather fun to put together. All you really need is a Phillips screwdriver, though my husband suggested using a small vise grip to grasp the screwdriver for a couple of screws which were a little hard to reach. It had been expertly packed and all the pieces were in perfect condition. All the parts were there (plus an extra for each of the various screws, cam locks and dowels.) The instructions were clear and most amazing of all, every single hole for the screws and dowels was perfectly aligned - a first for me in assembling a piece of furniture! It took some time to put together but was well worth the effort and looks very pretty next to our white metal bed. The only thing I would add would be white plastic caps over the cam locks that show on the back side, but since it is against a wall, that's a minor point. I highly recommend this item.

I purchased a pair of these as end tables for my living room and they are excellent! Packaged well, very sturdy construction, and fairly easy to assemble. The only issue I had was getting the drawers lined up properly once on the track. It may require some patient jiggering with tightening/loosening the screws (as mentioned in the directions) to get it straight. I also would like to point out that you can fit a fabric cube drawer (the standard 11" ones sold all over) on the bottom shelf for extra hidden storage and a splash of color.

The Homestyles Bedford Queen bedframe is exceedingly well documented and simple to assemble. I had high hopes this would be as well. It is very well organized and marked, so no mysteries. But, some of the fittings are awfully tight and it's easy to damage the components.While the instructions are quite straight forward, it's not quite as "plain english" as would be helpful. You're assembling this in stages, and it's not always clear what you're doing, when and why. And, should you get confused and have to backtrack - you pretty much have to disassemble the entire piece back to that stage.No all the pre-drilled cam holes were the right depth, which you don't discover until you insert the pieces - and they don't fit right. Very, very frustration.Still, this looks really nice with the bed and I'm pleased with the purchase. I've ordered glass tops to protect them, as this is not a high gloss finish and will easily scratch or get damaged.

This is the perfect color and size. This nightstand is very sturdy and looks great in my bedroom.

I bought two along with the Queen bed and six draw dresser ALL were very easy to assemble - ALL packaged well, very beautiful, however, the color is cream not white - looks gorgeous the wood is very nice-great value for the money- I highly recommend

The night stand was relatively easy to put together. It was nice and sturdy. This color was not white. It looks kinda cream when you take it out of the box, however when you put it together and place it next to something that is white it’s very yellow/green cream color. It’s not very appealing. I returned it with no issues and got a refund.

I ordered this on July 4th, it arrived on July 7th and my husband assembled it and put it in the bedroom on July 8th. I am very happy with it. According to my husband it was difficult to assemble - he actually had a piece left over which was the small backing piece that goes behind the drawer. As this will always be positioned against a wall it is not a problem. The drawer runs on metal runners and has a stop mechanism to prevent it falling out when pulled all the way out. It is a solid looking piece with no screw holes or assembly holes visible. It has some weight to it as well. We only ordered one in case it turned out to be something we didn't like. Quite the opposite. I am now ordering a 2nd one for my side of the bed. The price is good and the free shipping even better as well as incredibly prompt. And, now that my husband knows how to assemble it, there won't be a piece left over.

Bought an entire queen set for our quest room. Because both back rails (part F) are unequal in length the night stand can not be assembled. It’s not inexpensive, and looks very nice. The headboard quality is solid. But if I cannot assemble the night stand the rest of the set does little good as an ensemble. Unless you have free time to squander tracking down how to get replacement parts I don’t recommend purchasing from Homestyles. I, personally, don’t have the time to waste waiting for parts. I carved time out from actual work to put the set together tonight because we have company coming. It’s times like this that make me miss the brick and mortar stores.

I was very pleased with this item. Colour matched my antique white baseboards perfectly and it looked very cottage-like in my spare bedroom. Not being skilled in assembling furniture, I was able to manage with the instructions provided but questioned one of the pieces at the back in which case, I felt the instructions provided for a piece to be assembled backward. This item was sturdy and the drawer worked well on the gliders.

It's antique white, not white. Easy to assemble. Looks nice. So , other than the color I was pleased with the product.

Nice table.. but in certain lighting it has a yellow tinge as opposed to the "bright white".
