Satco S1916 100Q/F/JD 100-watt E11/T4 Mini Can Halogen Bulb, Frosted, 4-Pack

We have three different set of bathroom lights that use the E-11/T-4 type halogen bulbs. We found long ago that using unfrosted bulbs in them really makes the lighting harsh. It become obvious why the lights came with the frosted bulbs. For years we had been able to find them locally, but that seemed to end a few years ago. After relenting and putting in an unfrosted bulb when an old bulb died, we were quickly reminded why we shouldn't. Finding these bulbs through Amazon was a cost effective solution. It gave us 4 replacement bulbs to use when others died. Since they seem to sometimes go in groups, the recent failure of one seems to forebode others dying soon. At least we are now ready when they do fail.

I use these bulbs in some outdoor light fixtures. They have been reliable and long lasting to date. Good value for the price. Recommend.

I tried putting some expensive LED lights to replace these in some Minka Aluma ceiling fans bulbs that burnt out. Complete waste of money buying the LEDs. These Halogen bulbs are so much brighter. There is a dome cover over the light, but I still went with the frosted because others said the clear were too harsh. Very happy with the purchase.
