This is a Tropical plant and with most tropical plants.This one despises temperatures below 50 degrees. So keep it warm - Also because its tropical = It prefers humid air so give it a mist if you can when growing it inside. Calathea will change their look some as the plant matures. This plant is perennial in deep south. GREAT in planters. Especially in baskets Perennial hardy zone 9 - 10 - It will return in spring if it has a mild frost / freeze - As it creates corms below. - DO NOT PLANT OUTSIDE IF THE GROUND FREEZES. They like to eat some. Regular liquid feedings will help keep them looking beautiful all season long.

Arrived big and beautiful
I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Calathea Orbitfolia in 6 inch pot. I had been searching and searching for one. I'm not sure why but this plant seems very difficult to find anywhere. The only other one available online was more than twice the price. I unboxed immediately upon arrival and was thrilled to find a big full healthy plant with not even one damaged leaf. Great size ....excellent condition....stunning plant......fast service!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to the owner and employees for the outstanding customer experience and very fine product.

very unhealthy plant. despite care died in two weeks.
the plant was very unhealthy from jump. i opened the package to a half dead plant. did everything i could to revive - care as instructed - but nothing helped. i didn’t review right away bc i dislike being negative but i am looking for another calathea and when i saw this seller pop up, i figured i would share my expletive. very disheartening experience.
