The media is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, does not absorb moisture and will not support microbial growth. The controlled pleat spacing maximizes surface area and dust holding capacity and is bonded to the enclosure frame to prevent dust bypass. The enclosure frame is constructed of high wet strength moisture resistant beverage board. The diagonal support members of the frame are bonded to the entering and exiting apexes of each pleat to prevent pleat collapse and filter bowing.

Great filters for a VERY GOOD price!
We just had not just one, but TWO furnaces replaced, and we also replaced our old electronic air filters with MERV 8 filters. I was a bit distressed when the installing company said we could sign up for auto-delivery of new filters every 6 months for "just $30 per filter." A quick look at Amazon revealed many more choices, and we decided to risk trying out a 6-pack of the least expensive (but well-reviewed) filters we could find. These looked good, and we ordered them. We couldn't be more pleased! We bought the 16x25x4 model, and they are virtually exact replacements for the ones we got with our furnaces. These filters also appear to be of the same quality! Good quality! The cost with shipping was close to 1/4 the cost the furnace company quoted for theirs, and we couldn't be happier.

I can't complain. These are perfect for our needs. Purchasing this product in bulk has taken away any excuse I might have had not to change the filter on time. These are top quality and the same as a much more expensive local product.

Measure carefully. Furnace filters do not come in half sizes. These furnace filters work very well, and they were at a great price.
