It takes a little getting used to when you first try to determine how to use this kitchen tool, but once you experience the versatility and handiness of a spurtle, you want to grab one for everything. The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars is because after scrubbing in dishwater about 3 times, the finish on the wood seemed to be wearing off, leaving raw wood with the beautiful rainbow colors exposed to fading. I treated the spurtle and some canola oil and let it absorb, wiped it off and that restored the finish. I am now careful to immediately rinse the spurtle so that washing it later doesn't require vigorous scrubbing, and that has worked well so far.

Ok, we just tossed ALL of our wooden spoons. Just for the shear fact it hugs the corner of your pots its a winner. The wood is solid and really has held up over use after use after use. These are used almost every day in our home and honestly we will buy another set if the day comes where they are just worn out.

They are very nice to look at, have a nice feel in you hand, stir oatmeal very well.However they are hard to clean as food sticks to them very much. Made the mistake of using the one with holes in it to stir my oatmeal the first time and then spent 30 minutes trying to clean the spurtle and get the oatmeal out of the slots. Found a bottle/tube brush that helped. Almost all food sticks to them very bad, eggs, mayo, any sauce I've tried, etc. This is a very pretty but useless kitchen accessory. perhaps if the finish was smoother they would be better, it pretty rough wood for what they are. If I had the wall space they would become a decoration, for now they just lay in the junk drawer taking up space.

Bought this back in November have used it a handful of times but it has started to chip. I havent beat it up ans always hand wash and never let them sit in water. Love the look of them but am questioning the durability.

These Wooden Spoons are just what I was looking for they look amazing and work great hope they last me a long time. Not sure if the photos really help.

My hubby loves these utensils!! He uses them more than me. We use them for making breakfast and especially useful when cooking pastas and making mashed potatoes.

Love using Pakkawood Kitchen Utensils. Bought a few for gifts. The packing is amazing - nice touch. Just wrap the box and give. Utensils are sturdy and adds color to your kitchen.
