Good design, the torch is also a useful additional feature. The electric wire meshing on this mosquito/insect racket is reasonably tightly woven together and can snare and knock out mosquito's and the common fly with ease, although smaller winged insects may be a bit more challenging to ward off with this electric swatter. It takes about 6-8 hours or a little more at times to fully charge the device, and the retractable socket pins are well designed, this also fits wall sockets well-- and the racket can be left hanging in a socket without any additional support while it's charging. There is a dual switch mechanism which adds to the safety, the first it a sliding off -on- on+torch switch sequence, and then there is a circular circuit breaker button which when depressed completes the electric circuit and feeds current to the wire meshing when the sliding switch is in either the on or on+torch modes. When the circular button is released it breaks the circuit even in the 'on' modes and the wire mesh is not fed any live charge/current. Neat little gadget to have around for protection especially in summer when you are being devoured by mosquito's and other insects

Seems like it will be long lasting as it is well built. Torch is removable for use and charging. Excellent to travel with, two in one, torch and pest control!

5 Star, Good Packing, Sturdy Built and looks very good. Gets fully charged in 2-3 hrs.. Nice Torch at the end so it can be used in the dark..VERY NICE...

the product seems to be working fine so far. What was disappointing, the glass of the main torch connected to charging unit of the bat was broken when unpacked. although the packaging box was very big with lots of air packets in it, I wonder how the glass was received broken. Please arrange for the glass of the torch or else replace it with a new one...I feel the glass was broken before it was packed. but whatever mite be the reason please do something about it.

I charged this racket the full time, it worked for about 4 times, then stopped working. Was also surprised to learn it has to be loaded every time for 12 hours!Is also bit heavy. Because of its size, it is difficult to send back to Amazon, so I simply gave it away to someone interested in the torch part. Lights a great idea, but item does not seem to work for the main purpose - for mosquitoes.
