D'Luca Cello Stand (CEL-05)

Got this so my daughter wouldn't leave her half-size cello sitting around between practice sessions. I didn't want to spend a whole lot, because I have no idea if she'll still be playing the cello six months down the road. The stand works great -- keeps the cello out of the way, off the sofa, safe from the pets. And it's small and relatively lightweight, easy to move from one place to another. It works just as well as the much-more-expensive stand I have for my own cello. My daughter often pops the cello, still in the soft case, into the stand, as soon as she brings it home from school, which keeps it safe and safely out of the way. Well worth the money.

This worked great for my son's full-sized cello that he was leaning in a corner (and marking up the walls). The stand is small, strong, sturdy and has a strong base so it won't topple. The cello stands nearly upright so it takes up less space than it did leaning in the corner.

Works very well! My only problem is that it would be easy to knock over if someone tripped on it and stumbled against it, but if you have a spot that is out of a high traffic area it should work well!IMPORTANT: The stability of the stand is dependent on how you turn the rubber pads on the ends of the stand feet. These rubber pads are not of the same thickness all around, so there is a good chance that when you put it on level ground it will wobble. To fix it, simply twist the rubber pads to a location with a different thickness and presto! You can balance it. This comes in handy when you need to put the stand on a slightly uneven surface, because a simple adjustment of these pads allows you to balance it.Overall, I am satisfied and would recommend the product. It allow me to store my cello without having to put it in a case each time I'm done practicing.

For the last three years my cello has been in my closet, neglected and unloved, so finally I realized I might as well make it a decorational item if I'm not going to play it. The stand only uses gravity and some friction-heavy cloth on the bottom pegs to hold the instrument up, but that's all it needs. If it's in a location you're worried about it getting bumped you may want a sturdier support, but as it is this stand is affordable and nearly invisible, which is great.

Unfortunately a full sized cello can easily tip forward. I had to tape 1/2 inch foam risers to stabilize this stand.

I was worried about some reviews, but everything is going well here. Both holding harms have good cushion so that the cello won't be damaged at all. I love it. Very stable, and my cell sits on it elegantly, which now looks great in my living room like a classy decoration when not using.

I read through all the mixed reviews for 4/4 cello. I was on a budget so I got this stand for my 7/8 cello. It's holds it perfectly with the peg not being pulled out and there is no need to lean it against the wall.

The media could not be loaded.  It's cheap and might work well enough if you're on a strict budget, but I would probably rather lay my cello gently on a rug.Product came very beat up (the padding scrunched and pulling off - see pictures) and the base wouldn't sit flat even on hard tile - it would rock back and forth (see video).I am returning this.

A good, portable, stable cello stand. Have used it for everyday storage of a cello in the home as well as a stand when playing outside of the home. It is low to the ground so you have to retract the cello’s end pin to use it. No hook for the bow - used a plastic stand shelf instead. Have a 4/4 and a 3/4 cello and it works great for both.

Looks good, works very well for a 3/4 size cello.

I use this for my full size cello and I was surprised as to how stable it is. I originally wanted a full stand (the ones with the support on the cello neck) for my instrument but they were just too darn expensive and I decided to settle for this instead. And I'm glad I did, this item exceeded my expectations, for an affordable price.

This was exactly what I wanted with no assembly required. All you notice is the cello
