Storm Kimonos BFW Ultra Lite Kimono

First impressions of the gi... looks like materials are good quality for a light gi under fifty dollars.. the A1 didn't fit me so gave it to my gf who should be wearing an A2. The pants are extremely baggy for an A1, which is the main reason I could not keep the gi. I'm 5'6 150 lbs very athletic and fit, lift weights so well built upper and lower body with broad shoulders and a narrow waist/hip. The top fits closer to a true A1 fit which is normally fits a bit tight on my broad shoulders but sleeves are just the right length. The bottoms are way too baggy... more like an A2 and will accommodate someone in the 180 lbs range easy. That was the deal breaker so as I said, gave it to my gf who fits this sizing profile better. I will be grabbing and pulling on it in the future and will update on durability in the coming months should anything negative or positive stand out.

I jumped on this GI when I saw it for sale at the sub forty dollar price range which is an absolute steal. The GI has a pretty nice feel and has good stitching and nice seam work. I've rolled in this GI about 20 times and washed via machine 20 times with no real noticeable wear/tear with acceptable fading (I didn't do the vinegar soak to protect the dye). The GI runs pretty large even after a few hot washes and dryer trips, I would say the A1 is closer to an A2 but it depends on whether or not you like your GI tight or not. At the current price I wouldn't buy again and would look at more popular brands of GI.

I will update everyone on the durability of the pants and shirt once I have time to roll. The look and feel of the gi is top notch, considering the price, it's a home run!

It doesn't shrink that much. The fabric is only 60% Cotton. i do not like how the go feel. But for the price. I guess it's acceptable.
