Easily a favorite
I started listening to tennis maybe 4 years ago? However, it wasn't until recently when I've become obsessed. They were on a play list here and there. Now I'm buying every album they have ever created. My bf and I both love this band. We don't even have the same taste in music. But Tennis is an amazing band.

Mellow, Beautiful, and Uplifting
This is easily one of the most beautiful albums of 2012 for me. It makes me feel good every time I listen to it. What more could you ask for?The low-fi sound of their first album Cape Dory is cleaned up a bit, but all the beauty is still there. And don't let the short length of the album (about 30 minutes) deter you: You will listen to it over and over.

Unexpectedly amazing!
Let me start by saying I've never listened to anything by Tennis prior to buying this album. Never even heard of them, to be honest. Every month, I dredge my way through the 100 albums for $5 Amazon lists every month, trying out different artists like clothes to find something I like. This album is one I'm glad to have found in the list! The singer & instrumentals blend together some truly hypnotizing songs, all different but cohesive as an album. Some personal stand outs include Origins, Travelling, Petition, Take Me to Heaven, and Deep in the Woods. That's not to say the rest are filler (spoiler: they're not). The lyrics for many of the songs, while they could easily be fluff and I wouldn't complain (which goes to show how amazing the singer & band is), are compelling and thought provoking. This album makes me want to drive to the beach in a convertible on a lone highway at dusk. Or rather, this album makes me think of things that make me happy... or something. All I know is, this is the best $5 I've spent in some time, and I will be following this band from here on out.On the fence? Just buy it. I'll make no guarantees, but I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the ride.

Good music
I listen to the Sklar Brothers' "Sklarbro Country" podcast, and they feature indie rock music from their personal collections between their comedy tales and sports talk. One week they played selections from Tennis, and I bought this CD. It's good stuff -- not great -- but very listenable.

Sounds vintage!
This is one of those albums that you'll immediately fall in love with. Tennis has a really vintage sound going between the production, song structure, and gorgeous vocals. I have been listening to it non-stop for weeks and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Bonus track "Deep in the Woods" is one of my favorites because it has this great winter-time/holiday feel about it, not to mention it is catchy like a fox. You'll enjoy this if you like Neko Case or Blondie's "Sunday Girl". I bought the MP3 version for $5, so I definitely got my money's worth.

One of the Year's Best
One of the best albums I've bought this year. Musical tastes are subjective. Personally, I really loved this album. It's cool, laid back and catchy as hell. The bonus tracks are actually a couple of my favorites. I would also recommend La Sera if you like Tennis.

Five Stars
Great album, Patrick Carney's DNA is all over this, but when is that a bad thing?

SLEEPER!
"It All Feels" sets it off. It really does. "Origins" gives you a girlly feeling of wanting to give and recieve. But, I have to say the rest of the CD continues. It is a clean recording that you will be glad you bought. GREG
