Much better than a carboy!
I can't believe that I have forgotten to review this fermenter. This thing is awesome and I can't think of a single gripe. I have put better than ten batches through it so far and absolutely love it. The digital temp display is a serious plus. Easy to clean and very professional looking

Yes. Yes. Yes.
This kettle is an absolute beast. Well worth the money for the heavy duty spout and customization options. The measurements on the inside of the pot are also a great addition. My only critique would be that you need a false bottom or another way to filter out the hops. I use hop bags, it solves any issues with buildup. Awesome kettle, highly recommend.

SS Brewtech high quality brew gear
Excellent brew kettle. I bought two because I was upgrading equipment to move into all grain. I am very happy with the quality of the kettles. The seller was quick to ship my order and it arrived with no issues.

Solid, well-made, handsome, and very usable fermenter
I bought one of these direct from the manufacturer recently.Assembly is pretty easy. You install the valve and gaskets at the bottom of the fermenter, and the thermowell and gaskets in the middle. Everything else is done for you. It's critical to note that you should clean this fermenter thoroughly before use. Any stainless steel product, this bucket included, is manufacutered with certain machine oils. Some residue from these oils can remain after manufacturing. Cleaning with a good PBW solution (or Dawn dish detergent if you rinse really, really well) can remove these residues. If you don't clean well before use, your beer may pick up the flavor of these manufacturing oils and you're probably not going to like that. The lid latches tightly to the bucket with the snaps you see around the rim. The seal seems to be good and tight, thanks to a thick rubber gasket inside the lid. The airlock fits snugly inside its gasket as well. The stainless steel design makes the Brewmaster Bucket both very nice looking and very sturdy as well. It's thick enough that there is no real flex or give to the steel, but not so thick that the thing is heavy to haul around. I'd say it's heavier than a white plastic 6.5 gallon fermenter bucket, but probably lighter than a glass carboy of the same size. It looks and feels like a quality piece of equipment, and I believe it is.The biggest complaints I have about it, and these are pretty minor, stem from the thermometer. It doesn't have an on/off switch that I could find, so you're pretty much left to either remove the batteries when the fermenter's not in use or leave it running until the batteries go. This is a pretty small nit to pick with what is otherwise a great fermentation bucket.I'm going to have a bit of a challenge figuring out how to install the thermowell for my fermentation temperature controller, though I might just replace the thermometer with that since they serve the same purpose.Overall, I'm very happy with the product and plan to pick up another soon. Right now, mine is happily fermenting an ESB.
