Great mat! It's large, comfortable and it looks good. It's thicker than most mats (it's 1.4cm thick) and hence softer. It is soft enough for a baby who can sit steadily and move around, however probably not for a baby who is just learning to sit. (I added extra cushioning when my baby was at that stage).We've used this mat daily for a couple of months now in our bathroom and kitchen to protect against the hard and cold tiles and we really like it. My 10 months old takes it apart but has not managed to damage it in any way. (Although our cats love to sharpen their claws on the mat, so be aware cat owners!)If it wasn't for the high price (I bought it at £43) I'd buy another one.

This is a good quality, sturdy mat which provides a soft, comfortable surface to play on. It's a huge jigsaw but I love that you can also make trains with it! The pieces come out and fit together easily and I think it will clean and last well. The colour scheme in some mats can be a bit over overwhelming but I like this one because its just two simple colours, which makes it easier to focus on the letters and numbers. This was just me playing about with it - now to see what the kids can do!

Have been using this daily with my toddler in lots of different ways to teach letters. My only gripes are that the A is different from the rest of the which means you can only use it at the beginning of a word and it means it's the only letter that can go into the top left hand corner. Also the trendy font of the letters mean that P, B and R are confusing for a toddler. Also the I has no tails so looks like a lowercase L or a 1. But these are only issues for imaginitive mums using these mats way beyond their intended purpose!

Ummed & aaard & breathed in hard over the price but now am so glad we bought it. Our 7 month old loves it. It looks really classy so will suit any decor and toys are easily spotted whereas his toys blended in on his bright multicoloured play gym . Thick comfy and warm to play & crawl on. Big enough for 6ft dad to chase baby on! Tiles provide more versatility than a mat. Letters/numbers and a train! So future proof well into childhood. Yes expensive but we've had it a couple of months and no regrets Absouluty recommend 100%.

Arrived quickly in a large box with plenty of protective packaging. Straight out of the box the kids loved it, pulling apart the letters and numbers whilst making trains out of the inserts. Overall the mat looks very modern and the colour is a great match for my living room. Some of the train pieces have even made it to bath time where the kids like to chew and stick the pieces to the bath tiles. Great product all round and I even have a clear plastic storage bag to use now.

Great mat and I can’t recommend it enough. I bought it when my son started crawling and now he’s one year old. He walks around falling all the time. If not for this mat, I would have been so helpless. I’m so glad we bought it and it was one of the best buys. Don’t let the price put off. It’s worth the money

Great purchase, needed to protect my little one from our tiled floor as he’s learning to move around and play. Lovely soft grey and cream colour which blends nicely with our living room and makes it easy for him to spot his brightly coloured toys on it.I would recommend this to everyone with just one downside being the price. Compared to others this is a bit pricey, I am hoping over time the quality will make up for the price

I was buying cheaper versions and they all had toxic smell that did not air after keeping it outside for few Weeks. This one did not have any smell, its thick and so stylish. Love it. Was hesitant to get it coz of price but now I understand its worth every penny.
