Purchased for my mom as I had a similar one which I love. First negative point was that it came wrapped in bubble wrap with no box, just the Amazon packaging, not sure this is a one off but it’s not ideal, luckily there was no damage.My mom uses loose leaf tea but isn’t keen on using a defuser, she likes to be able to stir the tea round the pot and use a strainer, some habits just can’t be changed! I was dissapointed to discover that you can’t use this teapot without the diffuser as it’s attached to the rim, my teapot which is a different brand but look the same has a removable diffuser. It doesn’t specify in the product description that it is fixed but then doesn’t say that it’s removable so it’s my error really but wish there would have been a mention of this. I have purchased her an additional glass teapot of a different brand which is smaller, 600ml, with a removable diffuser, (arrived in a box with instructions), and the rim and lid fit this teapot so know she has 2 in different sizes. My mum reports that it is a lovely teapot and pours lovely, it keeps the tea hot for ages, even without the cosy she made for it haha, so overall it is good but a star deducted for the packaging and the fixed diffuser issue.

I love my new glass teapot. The design is great...and it pours beautifully. My only problem is that I find it a bit difficult to remove the lid sometimes...such a tight fit..which is good .. but the pot is so dinky and the knob small that it gets well and truly stuck . . but I love my tea pot!

We use this every morning to make our ginger/lemon/honey tea to help resist any virus! It works well, is elegant, and the right size for our family of 4 in the mornings. Seems strong enough, but the filter basket is fixed to the chrome rim, and has to be in place for the lid to fit. If you want to use it without the basket, then the lid stays off - the only negative point.

Teapot works well and pours without drips. It is smaller than we expected but fine for two people.
