So much stuff in a small neat looking container.great gift for my teenager he loves hunting and nature. fits on anything lots of used.

I look at this item for a while and watch video of it and it is everything that is expected so I'm 110% happy with it and fixes great in my bag

The media could not be loaded.  This holds on a key chain, really is ultra compact.Now what you could fear with that type of size is little usefulness. Just a few items that would not help you survive much. Ok so, granted, you'll survive with this kit provided you're near a wooden area but if you do then hurray because it comes with everything you need to do a lot of things. And it does cover all your basic survival needs which I find amazing in such a compact kit.Congratulations to the guy who made this up! Putting it in a gunshell was a brilliant idea. You can put this on a key chain and no one will be the wiser as to what you're carrying (you'll be grey lol). And the purpose of a survival kit is to carry it. My own survival all purpose EDC is huge compared to this one but I would feel safe going around with just this one (and a survival blanket).Now let's have a look at the basics:FIRE with the fire steel and the small strikerWATER with the condom, the cartridge, the 2 disinfection tablets (from the look, Oasis tablets, two liters)SHELTER with the paracord (1 meter of paracord will give you strong 7 meters cordage, very helpful to help you construct a shelter using the cord inside the outside cover) and the scalpelNAVIGATION if you need to find your way you can use the compass, it IS a nice functional one, use the glow stick to light the compassFIRST AID with the disinfection tablets, the fishing line or paracord (this one is probably better, your hair can do too), the safety pins to keep a bandage in place,FOOD with two snares and a complete fishing kitIt is hard to believe they fit all this into just a gun shell.Everything is explained clearly in the small leafleat (basically a recto verso A4 but packed with ingenious ways to use the kit).Also it is made in the UK by a very small company. These guys know what your needs are in the outdoors. Of course this won't substitute for a larger personal kit but it can be transported with you at all times which is not the case of my own survival EDC which is carried by my car as a matter of fact.You can open the kit and put everything back, but it is not easy. Just be careful in what order you take things out. But the fact that the fishing kit and safety pins come in a piece of straw (the same way you'll prepare packs of salt and honey and coffee for treks)and the fishing line is wrapped makes it simple to push it back inside. And the larger pieces like the scalpel, the tablets and the condom would go first.The fact that the compass sits outside the shell is a plus to me because it would come very handy for a walk in the woods when I want to go around. No need to open the kit all the time.Also the keyring makes it impossible for the kit to open incidentally. And I wonder whether it was possible to use this as a defense tool once closed but it might be too lightweight.All in all, I find this kit to be real value for money because it isn't costly and it proves quite complete for that size. Even better than larger kits that are sold from, let's say Eastern regions of this planet, for twice that price. Frankly, you won't be disappointed, it is a nice product.
