Social workers should add to their toolbox
Although I do not agree 100% with everything written in this book, it is a fantastic read. It raises awareness to issues that clinical practitioners may not know or may forget about after years in private practice. This book both humbled me and lit a fire in me about activism again. It’ll be great to re-read when I’m feeling stuck in a rut.

I will be applying this framework
I will definitely work to incorporate liberation health practices in my work with multi-marginalized clients. The case studies provided great examples of how to use these principles in working with a diverse client base.

Cost
Not sure what mechanisms set price points, but despite this being published 6 years ago the cost is prohibitively high, especially for a grad student in the process of learning therapeutic techniques. Have not read, Amazon forced me to choose a star rating in order to post.

A Fantastic Textbook!
Highly recommend! This book will assist social workers in incorporating social justice principles into their clinical work. Strong analysis of different populations and the issues they each face.

Terrific Anthology!
Excellent articles discussing how social workers are actually thinking about and practicing the Liberation Health and Social Justice viewpoint with clients in a variety of clinical situations.
