Another entertaining book in the Miniature series.
4.5 stars - I adore this series! Margaret Grace writes other delightful series under different names (Ada Madison and Camille Minichino), but the Miniature series is my favorite. I was so excited to see a new mystery featuring miniaturist Gerry Porter and her precocious granddaughter Maddie. Although it's not the strongest in the series, partly because there seems to be less details about miniatures, it's still an entertaining read. I adore Gerry, who would be great to have as a friend or family member, and there is no crime she can't solve with the help of Maddie's computer skills. Maddie is growing up, but she and Gerry still have a close bond that is very heartwarming. This is a clean cozy that fans of the series or new readers can enjoy equally.

I especially enjoy the miniature series
I especially enjoy the miniature series, but have read and love several books of each of Ms. Minichino's series. Each 'episode' builds in the previous ones, yet each is wholly satisfying. The story moves so smoothly that there are never 'slow' spots. When I have to put the book down, I can't wait to get back to it. I am most amazed at the author's use of adjectives and adverbs. One feels like they are actually there in every scene. I'm nearing the end of each of Ms Minichino's series and will have to explore some of the other authors she aligns herself with. But I will indeed look forward to any new books of hers first!

... every book in the series and they are all awesome! I LOVE murder mysteries
Every book in the series is awesome! I LOVE murder mysteries, AND I LOVE miniatures, so these are PERFECT reading for me! Even if you are not a miniatures enthusiast, if you enjoy trying to solve the crime, you'll have LOTS of clues and suspects to analyze throughout this read! And STILL, the end is delightfully surprising!!! I REALLY REALLY hope there will be MORE in this series!!!! ****PLEASE!!!!!****** :)As I read Murder in Miniature, I was working on a 1/12th scale Atrium of my own! I shrunk down a copy of the front cover of the book and put it in my tiny room on an upholstered bench! I was SO inspired by that first book, I just HAD to do it!

I love the premise of the books
I gave read the entire Minature series except for this one. Somehow, I became irritated when reading it. Will the granddaughter ever be told no about anything. This book seemed to have more of the surly granddaughter than the others. Mad die is old enough to have some manners and is not to be pampered at every step. I usually read a book a day but it has taken give days to get through this one. Please improve this. I love the premise of the books.

Another great story in this series
Another great story in this series. Gerry is a very likeable grandmother and miniaturist, who finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation. Using common sense, and her own sleuthing abilities, she and her granddaughter use a unique process to determine who-dunnit. Woven through the story is a "drama" involving her granddaughter that is a mystery in itself. As always, the characters are realistic and the story line is plausible. A nicely written mystery, that keeps the reader guessing. I'm becoming a big fan of this series!

Margaret does it again!
I really like this series by Margaret Grace. It is one of my favorite series and I look forward to each book. Gerry Porter and her grandaughter Maddie are delightful. Lincoln Point sounds like a nice town to live in. The stories are unique and you always learn something about Abraham Lincoln. If you like cozies, add this series to you list. It is best to read them in order.

Boring, couldn't make it through
I'm a fan of the mystery cozy genre and of miniatures, but this book moved so slowly that I couldn't get through it. I also missed the return window for the e-book, so I couldn't even return it and get a refund.
