This book lacks basic detail and illustrations that I expected. A good bit is memoir which is fine but not what I was looking for to interest my grandson. Kids Gone Fishin is much better for getting kids started on fishing.

More of the author's bio as a kid fishing. Some tips sprinkled throughout but my grandsons thought it was a blah book.
