The answer in short is no. While the product does work and its functionality is nice, the adhesion is very poor and the brightness is meh. Also customizing the layout is very complicated since the connectors are not a standard size.I had to cut the strips shorter by 1 length, then solder new connectors to the ends of the strips to add jumper cables that didnt initially fit.I asked the seller what connectors were at the ends but got a reply with no details leading me to a video that indicated i had to solder the strips. Only because i was familiar with soldering did this all work out but that wont be the case for everyone.With this said, i like the smart life integration and functionality but i had to spend double the amount of the lights just to customize it to my liking making this product not so cost effective.

UPDATE: In addition to to review I wrote below about the non-standard connector type and the ends of the strips, ALL 3 SETS THAT i BOUGHT STOPPED WORKING! I finally figured out that the connectors at the end of the strip (where it plugs into the transformer) are very temperamental and I would have to wiggle them to get them to light, and on all three sets I wiggled them so much to get them to light that the end broke off. They are very fragile after the first one broke I was very careful to be very gentle with the other two sets, but even a little wiggle ended up breaking them. I am returning all three sets.I have tried every type of 5-pin 10mm connectors I can find (ordered 5 different ones including connectors that say they work with almost every 5-pin light 50/50 strips. As you can see in the pictures, the pins on this product are closer together than what's standard, so you cannot buy/use 5-pin L and T connectors with this product. Therefore, you can join the strips together in a straight line using the connectors that are already on the ends of the strips out of the box, however if you want to connect L or T connectors (which are not included nor does the maker, BRTLX, sell additional connectors) you are out of luck.Also, I am very good with electronics of all kinds (I build my own computers and have set up my entire house to be a smart home), yet it took me about 45 minutes to connect after it kept saying "Couldn't Find Device" on the app.The company is in China and the only number to call is in China.Lastly, I was very disappointed to find that you can't even create your own scene color - the scenes are preset and cannot be modified nor can you create your own scenes. Returning this product.

The first thing you'll find when you open these lights to work with them is that they use a tiny pin layout, non-standard to the various adapter options out there. If you need to cut them to fit, this makes it a real challenge to improvise a way to connect to them. Three reels of light strips are included. My first strip has already failed. If connecting either of the remaining two strips to the controller they only show blue, turquoise, white and a few shades of purple/pink. No red, no intense green available. The controller does connect to smart apps, however it doesn't respond to them correctly. The color wheel is mostly ineffective except for the aforementioned colors, and attempting to turn the lights off just turns them solid blue. You would think they have a robust rubberized build at first glance, and they do; however, the adhesive is really only a suggestion against the weight of the rubbery material. They're bright, but otherwise useless. Buyer beware, choose any other option on Amazon.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Easiest thing to install. Just peel and it sticks. The quality of these lights is amazing. Voice control feature makes this set a perfect set. It is a lot better than the rest of my other set. I am thinking purchasing a couple more to install in my living room. Check out the video for yourself. The app makes it easier to control the lights and their patterns, scenes, etc...

I was skeptical to buy this, but I've been reading more and more into "eye fatigue" and strip lights are something I decided to try buying. I got these up right before I had to work on an all-nighter project, and these worked like a charm; I felt focused and as the hours rolled by without squinting and getting tired as I usually did past 11PM. These were very simple to attach to one another and run along my ceiling, and the main control button is very responsive.These worked fantastic and are incredibly bright! The pure white lights illuminated my entire room without even encompassing the entire area around. In total, I used the complete length of the lights which were able to stick onto half of my room's area.Trouble is, the adhesive was not strong enough to keep the lights on my wall. I'm going to need to brace them with cable holders or nails. Once up, they stuck on, but fell down the following night.

Only those 3 strands can be connected as one whole. If you wanna add more be sure to buy more. And there Not very bright either

Bought as an under cabinet light for the kitchen. They work exceptionally well and are a good value so far. I have mine co trolled via a phone app (the one noted in the description) or via my Alexa.My only complaint is the adhesive doesn’t hold as well as I would like. It serves well for initial mounting/placement. However, I strongly suggest purchasing mounting clips to ensure your final placement remains as intended.

Product came with only two rolls of lights. Product doesnt perform correctly with phone app, colors have nothing to do with what you select on the app. for instance, you can select green color and it shows orange. Works horrible.
