This is my 2nd time buying this case. My 1st one broke, but that was my fault. I mainly bought this because my phone dies faster now and has a maximum capacity of 73% even tho it’s fully charged. But this case is a life saver. It charges your phone for a really long time and I like how it shows the case’s battery on the back. For my phone, at 1% my phone can charge back up to 100% in an hr or so, using half the case’s battery (It would probably be shorter if I didn’t use my phone while charging) Only downside is that the case charges pretty slow and you’d have to constantly remove your phone so that the charger charges the case. Preferably charge it overnight as you sleep. It also has a weight to it, so a popsocket or ring definetely helps. Other than that, I highly recommend this case.

First of all I wanted to like this case and I thought it will last for a while. I have a similar case from Wish. It lasted a year and I really liked it. I thought if I spend more it will last longer.But I can not recommend this case because I have ordered this twice and the same is happening the second time.Problems:-it only can charge maximum 1.5 times to about 100% from 5%. My other case from wish could do it 3 times and that is 5500mah not over 8000 as this is.-the case charging time is ridiculous. A whole night is not enough to charge it half!! I am using 18w charging adapter with Anker cable. It tops my iphone 7plus in 1.5 hours from 1%.-the worst: the lightning connector became so loose that every cable wiggle and falls out super easily. I have to keep the cable in a special angle to be able to charge and still without moving it disconnects and the cable just slips out from the slot.-the above problem means that I can’t charge my phone when I am using it because I have to focus how the cable sits in the case constantly.-apple car play is not working! It connects then 2 second later disconnects. And this is repeated unlimited time until I unplug it completely or I have to take my phone out of the case if I want to charge my phone.I don’t have much on the plus side. The charging indicator blue lights are not accurate. Only good is the grip and the matte surface. Never fell out from my hand so that is a plus I guess.Maybe my unit is defective, but as I can see other people have the same exact problem.

This case has finally given up on me. After the many falls on the ceramic tiles, on the sidewalk, and many days of snoozing my alarm while in the shower, it no longer works. I knew something was going wrong when I was only able to get 1 day out of it. Usually I’d be able to fully charge my phone for 3 days from 15% each day. And it was durable enough to survive those falls, with and without a screen protector, so your phone is definitely safe. Even though it is not a major name brand mine was amazing.Update: it’s not dead like I thought. Probably wasn’t feeling me that day. But It still charges my phone. But only holds 1 day of charge now, so if I use it, I HAVE to charge it again the same night. Otherwise I’m screwed.

Was annoying that the battery would shut off after putting my phone to sleep, found that when you press the charge button on the back and let your screen go to sleep on its own it will continue to charge.Would suggest you change your phone settings to sleep sooner for this case.This might help The rest of you guys with the charge issue.

Protects my phone and charges at the same time good quality and would definitely recommend buying

Update: I have still tried to make this case work. When it does, I love it. When it doesn’t, it’s frustrating. Over the past few days I still have this on my phone because I paid for it, why not right? Sometimes it will charge, other times it will not. I have given it an extra star because it sometimes comes in handy. But more often than not it ends up only working for about 10 minutes then turn itself off. That’s enough to get me by. I still really wish it would work.Original Review:I want to love this .... but I can’t. it’s so frustrating because it fits great, feels amazing, and is a great sturdy product. I am in love with the idea, but it can not deliver.I am a dentist in South Dakota. I travel to different rural towns and needed a great product like this. But it will not work!The first one, I charged it completely, plugged it in, then it will charge my phone ...... for like three seconds and then it stops charging. I tried everything and it still wouldn’t function.Rather than complain on Amazon, I talked with customer service. They were amazing and sent me a new one. Amazing customer service, very nice and helpful. But the new one has the exact same flaw! I get the battery case fully charged but will stop charging my phone after a few seconds.I have a iPhone 8 Plus. It is updated to the latest iOS software. I have tried everything. I try turning the case on while the phone is locked, when it is unlocked, I try turning the case on while the phone is unlocked then lock it, heck I even tried taking it out and turning the case in then plugging it back in! It simply doesn’t work! I’VE TRIED EVERYTHING! But it won’t charge my phone. And it legitimately makes me sad, because I want it to.....Again, I am so grateful for customer service. They were very helpful. I love the concept. Amazing case and battery. But quite honestly it will not do what it needs to and it is disappointing to say the least.
