Eraserhead had no problems and is presented in HD with the original 2.0 stereo as requested by David Lynch. DTS Master Audio and Stereo for Eraserhead as Lynch wanted) but some of the visual were not that great. For example Dune
Many previous reviewers criticised the poot audio and variosu other facets of this box set and these were supposedly fixed. I found no real issues with the sound (all in the format secified DD 5.1, DTS Master Audio and Stereo for Eraserhead as Lynch wanted) but some of the visual were not that great. For example Dune. I have a different version which is sigificantly better quality than the version in this box set.Having said that Eraserhead looked and sounded brilliant and I really enjoyed the obscure and older shorts - some are just brilliant and others baffaling. Dumbland has about 10 short animations which are right out there!!. Blue Velvet looked ok as did Wild at Heart, although neither were particularly great. All in all I have slightly mixed views, if I had purchased the box set with all the sound and visual flaws I would have been spewing but they seem to have been resolved, although not entirely. The box set brings together a lot of excellent material into one collection and for £35 is pretty good value, its just a shame that some of the technical elements spoil it a bit.

Boxset ordered from Amazon.co.uk in May 2014 had issues
I was encouraged that there was a note reassuring potential buyers that "Faulty products were recalled by the manufacturer, replaced, and the issues have now been fixed". Unfortunately, I received the old version with the issues... Lost Highway, Twin Peaks and Wild at Heart all had 2.0 rather than 5.1 audio and Wild At Heart was the censored US version. I returned the set for a refund. Unfortunately, it seems a lottery as to which version you'll get.

Would have been full stars if it wasn't flawed with errors...the one standing out is the US r rated Wild at Heart )we have had this uncut since its first release in the '80's....admittedly I could a had the recalled edition with problems on lost highway and others. Considering I only grabbed this for Eraserhead I wasn't much disappointed

Dear Universal, do us all a favour and lay off the independent films, and stick to popcorn trash
Seeing as I'm such a huge fan of David Lynch, I was VERY much looking forward to this actual release, for me, it was an EVENT.But seeing that Universal has decided to make all but 2 (Dune and Blue Velvet) in 2.0 is just DOWNRIGHT INEXCUSABLE.I own the DVD's of the films, and most are presented in brilliant 5.1 DTS sound. And as Lynch is a director who is perhaps one the greatest ever to use sound, score, and effects in such a highly imaginative way, is a total disgrace.Do NOT buy. If you must, get Blue velvet and Dune imported from the states, they're great releases.Fire Walk With Me has ZERO extras.I was so looking forward to this release more than any other of the year, and I'm actually quite annoyed I have to send it back.Good job that Amazon has a great returns policy. The product is not acceptable at all, the picture quality is trash the sound is even worse!Universal are DESTROYING the UK Blu Ray releases made by independent film makers, unlike Criterion, meaning if this continues, the format over here will be dead in the water. They have also screwed up two other great films- Videodrome and Walkabout (amongst others).I'm boycotting them, never will I continue to fund them, except for the odd Speilberg film.0.

"He said what Frank"
One thing i cant stand is warm beer, it makes ****** me puke!!The other is faulty bu-ray films and 2.0 stereo sound on a bluray! When i bought this boxset it was supposed to not only upgrade the picture quality, but also the audio. So i was slightly concerned when i realised that all apart from Blue Velvet & Dune, were 2 channel stero only! I can understand if Eraserhead doesnt, but I have Wild at Heart on dvd and even that supports 5.1, so why doesnt the bluray. Also Lost Highway is faulty, at a certain point throught the film (cant remember the exact time now) it freezes. Some of the film is lost, i tried rewinding back to the point just after it freezes but this didnt work. So faulty film.Because of these reasons i returned the boxset for a full refund from amazon, who's service was top notch as always. In my opinion this boxset should be recalled, especially when 1 of the films wont even play properly!
