Why, oh why do I love my little Dell Mini 9 so much? That little clam shell netbook with it's tiny 8 GB Solid State HD running XP has been my constant companion since it arrived on my doorstep way back in 2009. A 32 GB mini format flash drive gives me plenty of storage and great replacement parts like a fresh CMOS battery and this new main power pack are keeping this little jewel working great and defying the odds of survival for my legacy friend. This new BRTONG laptop battery came with great instructions on conditioning the battery for longer life, faster charging and longer lasting power and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks for extending the life of my Dell Mini 9!

After a bad experience with a $12 battery purchased recently also from Amazon (which was not recognized by the Mini 9 and would not charge -- but the vendor issued an easy refund), this BRT battery was a pleasant surprise.It is recognized by the mini 9 (BIOS A04). It charges. It works.In all respects, this battery is behaving like the original Dell battery. The results of two carefully timed experiments, both performed after the battery was charged to 100%:1. Light continuous use with some web surfing, reading news on various websites, and reading an ebook: 4 hours 10 minutes.2. Watching movies (stored locally on the SD card) continuously: 3 hours 30 minutes.A few days after delivery, it has gone through half a dozen charge cycles and all is well. Will update after a few months.

I dug out my old as heck Dell Vostro A90 because I wanted to take it along in my purse when I go back to school in the fall. Unfortunately the battery was not holding a charge, which is a common issue with those old netbooks. So I searched Amazon for reccomendations on which battery to get for a long while before I found this and finally made my decision. I was paranoid about picking the wrong one because some of the cheaper batteries had terrible reviews, died after a few uses, and didn't hold a charge for more than an hour or two. But I'm really glad I listened to other people on this page and ordered this one.It arrived today and it took 2 seconds to click into place. I checked the power settings and it held a charge (for a long time, too) so I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. It couldn't have worked out better, so I see no reason to not give it 5 stars.

I got this for my ancient Dell Mini 9 netbook. The old battery had died off long ago, but this works almost as good as new and allows me to use my netbook without needing to be tied to an outlet. I think the run time might be slightly less than the original battery when it was new., but it's still extremely good and far far better than the original at 10 years old.

My Dell Mini 9 is going on 10 years old, but it still works. Or at least it does as long as it is plugged in. I have both the original Dell 4-cell battery and an aftermarket 8-cell battery. The 4-cell won't charge and the 8-cell now is rejected by the BIOS (it worked years ago.) I was rather astonished that anyone was still selling replacement batteries for this ancient netbook, but here we are, and this is a good one. No BIOS issues (BIOS A07), it charges fine and gives 2-1/2 to 3 hours of use, just like the original Dell battery. Very happy customer here.

Great batteries! I bought two. I did have to update the BIOS of my Dell Mini 9 for it to work properly, but I was on A00 version (the original I assume). I charged it to 100% and then ran it down playing Youtube videos (wasn't in the mood to set up Prime) and it lasted for several hours-- probably 3-4, although I wasn't specifically timing it. So, they fit well, were recognized by the laptop, and lasted for a long time. Would buy again.

used this as a replacement, it worked great. it was a plug and play product and delivered on time. we were back up and running in no time.

Dell mini 9 does not recognize it. Useless.
