I am so glad that this is actually engraved into the tag. I've seen the ones where they aren't and they tend to come off over time. I'm not sure about how deep the engraving should be, but my dog's old one is like this and it has lasted her 2 years and longer. I just needed a new one because my phone number changed. I chose the bone and the shape is more like a medium size to me. My dog had a small size. I haven't tried this one yet, but it is a little big. Maybe it'll be fine for now. Thank you!

I was initially skeptical; so only ordered 2 tags when I needed 4 tags. What a painless "steal" this was for getting custom dog tags shipped to me in matter of 7-10 days (slight downside)! I feel like the process at Petco, PetSmart, and the other retailers would have served more difficult (plus lack the assorted colors and choices) than simply submitting my personalized order with the 'LoveYourPets' team, which products were very shiny, stainless steel, smooth rounded-edged, and accompanied with miniature key rings, so I didn't have to fish around for ones to fit. These mini-dog tags were just what I needed to organize my abundance of keys (not pets). The business' DBA name should be 'LoveYourTags!' because this patron is satisfied and will order again.

I usually don't write reviews, but I was so impressed with the speed, packaging, and quality of this dog tag! It is actually engraved into the material, so I know no matter how much my pup tries to bite/lick/otherwise mess with it, it will always show his name, my number, my spouse's number, and the phrase "I am microchipped!" All of these things are legible and clear on the tag, and the tag itself is thick and high-quality - I had to fiddle with it quite a bit to get it on the key ring with his rabies tag, and there weren't any scratches or bends. I can rest a little easier knowing that, if he ever gets lost or gets out, he will have a clear, legible tag to lead him home!

Engraving faded after only 1 year and now I have to go buy new tags from someone else. I had purchased stainless steel tags for 3 of my dogs and all faded (wore away). UPDATE: Love your pets is sending replacement tags with silencers that surround the tags preventing them from wearing against the other tags on their collars. Upgrading my evaluation back to 5 stars. I love that this is actually engraved. The tag itself is a bit smaller than I expected, although it's fine for a smaller dog. The font is easily readable. It definitely does not feel cheap, but solid and long-lasting. When I need to replace tags for the other two dogs, I will use this company. Very pleased, considering the price-- very reasonable.

I got two of these, one for me and one for my mom, choosing the mini-dogtag version. I put our name, address, phone number, and email address on each of them and we attached them to our keychains for emergencies or if they get lost. Pretty much like I made a pet out of my key ring. :)

We adopted two kittens (brothers) . We ordered tags just in case they inadvertently got away from us. The tags have all the pertinent info required to get the kittens beach to yes. A lot off info in a little space. Love it!
