Stens435-864 Mega Fire Starter Solenoid, Replaces Kawasaki: 27010-2122, 27010-7005, Kohler: 52 435 02-S, 12V, Fits 435-012 Electric Starter and 435-530 Electric Starter

This is the second time I've had to replace the solenoid on my SRT-HD Zero turn. First time it was under warranty. They seem to only last about 2 years and I only use mower in summer months every 2-3 weeks depending on rain. Obviously they have a problem and their solenoids are expensive. This was very cheap in comparison and was a perfect fit. Hope longevity holds up. BTW you have remove the starter to get the solenoid off as you can't get the angle needed to remove it while it's on due to motor obstructions. Works perfect so far and only took about 30mins once I realized I had to pull starter to do it.

This is the second solenoid I have used like this. The first one I put on over a year ago on a landscaping commercial mower which is started about 50 times a day. It is still starting fine with no problems. With the Denso replacement at $150. this is a much cheaper and reliable option. Will definitely buy again.

Worst decision I ever made buying this. Looked great. Nearly identical to Kawasaki. Oh how looks are deceiving. Installed and now when you connect the battery the starter motor starts spinning automatically and even if you turn the key the solenoid does nothing.

It fit my kawasaki fx481v starter perfectly. Its heavy, looks good quality. Worked perfectly. Shipping was fast. Price was fair.

I burned out my original solenoid and tried to get a replacement from the local mower dealer. After having no luck with them I found it online. The one from Kawasaki was $150. This one was much less and is working great. I will continue to use parts from this maker if they all perform like this.

This didn't fit my John Deere AMT 600, but I just wanted to say that the seller shipped it to me very quickly and promptly refunded me when I sent it back.

Garbage part and a waste of valuable time! I bought 4 solenoids and a new aftermarket starter and it too had a bad solenoid! They must have a large shipment of defective solenoids because every one was 100% DOA. Thats 4 loose solenoids and one aftermarket starter. All had the same symptom. The solenoid does not retract and the relay does not close. Two of them had been opened indicating a previous return. Do not waste your time! I just bought a new OEM starter for $203+ tax from a local dealer and I'm back in business after a week and a half of down time.I played around with one of these 5 new aftermarket solenoids and discovered it would retract the solenoid AND close the circuit when you wired it backwards. Put 12v negative to the SPADE and put 12v positive to the starter motor side of the relay and it would close the circuit and retract the solenoid. Pure junk!!!!!!

I now have 5 of these that no longer work. A couple months at best with starting maybe 5 times per day on a Kawasaki Mule. I figured for the price, it would be worth replacing once in awhile if they didn't last long, but I've changed my opinion on that. Went ahead and ordered one from Kawasaki.
