Mash in with this.
I'm a professional Brewer and owner of a small brewery. For years, I'd been mashing in with a long commercial kitchen spoon. The sides of the spoon were flat metal and always hurt my hands. Finally, I splurged on this mash paddle.This thing is solid. It's got a nice heft to it that really helps mix in my grist. Mashing in makes my arms tired more, but the rounded handle is far more comfortable on my hands. The stainless steel cleans wicked easily.My only gripe is that I wish there was a hanging hole on the end of the handle. I have to hang it by one of the holes in paddle part. Wasn't worth deducting a star, but worth noting.

They forgot to drill the holes on mine. Craftsman ship is mediocre but it is solid stainless

Much bigger than expected
Check the dimensions. It is very large. Not good for a smaller homebrew kettle.
