Great alternative to replacing a flush valve
Part worked great (stopped leak between the tank and bowl), saved the expense of doing what the toilet manufacturer had recommended which was buying an entirely new flush valve, which was almost 10 times the cost of this part.

Can't "love" plumbing, but this is a money/water saver.
The local plumbers don't know Grohe and it was hard to find just this toilet piston valve on its own without paying a silly at a boutique (?!) plumbing store. I found the right part on Google (took forward) and searching again got me a link to Amazon. Works perfectly, still watertight, zero effort to install. I found myself using the expression "Amazon wins again."

Did exactly what I needed...but
30 year old Porcher toilet. Tank water leaked into the toilet and every few minutes the supply valve had to top off the tank level. This part contains two small diaphragms that need to be renewed. I could not find them separately except one site in the UK, notwithstanding this part and the diaphragms are Grohe parts originally.

Perfect replacement for the piston in my Porche toilet.

Fits perfectly, includes both seals!
This fits my badly leaking porcher toilet with the top push button perfectly, it is the complete flush unit and includes both the bigger bottom seal and the smaller top seal. The only down side is that it doesn't include detailed instructions other than some wordless drawings. Hopefully the seals on here would last longer than the seal on the original unit. Not too hopeful though, because they seem to be made from the same silicon gel like material.

I noticed water coming down the back of my toilet so removed the wall panel to get to my cistern. Once I'd taken apart all the bits inside, and watched a bit of YouTube, I realised this was the part I needed. Ordered on amazon altho it was a couple of quid more expensive but as it was bought through Prime it came the next day. Well worth it! it was SO easy to fit. Couldn't believe it. Leaking loo fixed in less than 5 mins. Brilliant !!!
