Essentials 2 For Iphoto

We received the package and all but when we opened the box the software was not included. We made a claim but haven't received feedback yet and it was like more than a month ago! I had full faith in amazon products until this incident!

I think this is a great product if you don't have an editing program on your computer already. It is very user friendly and allows you to resize and adjust color on your photos. I have a Mac and have Iphoto which has a good photo editing program already so, for me, it was just a redundant program.

After a couple of calls to Customer Service they gave me a patch to download to make it compatible with Snow Leopard. Software works great. Very easy to use and intuitive for the novice. Best solution for the average person looking to improve pictures with ease.

Plug-in tool used as an extension to iPhoto. Make it better tool is not really needed as iPhoto already has a decent editing function to improve saturation, contrast and light. Frame it tool is useful for those who wish to add a designed frame around the photo. This can add a little fun to the images. Enlarge it tool allows the enlargement of the picture without distorting the image or pixelating the image. This is also useful for large printing or if planning to crop the image later on. Blur it tool is the main reason why i bought this package. This same tool is available as a high end plug in for Photoshop. It is a easy way to create soft focus. It is like a digital Lens Baby. This is probably the best tool of the lot.I am a little disappointed that this package is so limited with what it offers. When considered the Photoshop Elements is like a full editing software at the same price point, this software or plug-in seems very expensive and not very good value for money. Similar effects and enlargements can be done on Elements and more for the same price.
